PSA, I just setup my character for this jewel to find out its currently bugged and jewel deactivates on zone change... Hopefully this is patched soon but as of right now its fairly unusable/annoying with deactivation on zone change

This jewel will grow in popularity with people figuring out that it exist, this jewel have a deterministic way of crafting - yes, but everyone will want it even if they have 3 jewel slots only (Which is common af). Well, time will show if 35+ multi and 14-16% inc life per jewel isn't too insane to be worth be on level with unnatural instinct.

So with the Adorned at 100%+, Stormshroud, and a magic corrupted Abyss Jewel with 41-50% chance to avoid shock, you can get elemental ailment immune without having to invest an Essence mod and implicit on your boots. Neat

For a second there I thought it was any Corrupted Jewel that wasn't just Magic... My heart sank after I realized since my build uses a lot of unique Jewels.

There’s some really interesting abyssal jewel mods. There’s one for -2% all reds for enemies withered by you (scales to 5% with your perfect jewel). There’s one for CDR. There’s crit chance if you haven’t crit recently (totems and mines). All kinds of good stuff.

There is one great usage you didn't mention, which is chance to poison and chance to ignite on jewels. For example say with 120% effect and 4 blue jewels with 5% chance to poison, that becomes 44% chance to poison total, 24% extra, that might just be enough for you to cut 10 points off traveling and getting poison chance mastery, instead invest into offense or defense. And that mod is a combo suffix, you also get at minimum 53% poison duration, and there can be a useful prefix even a implicit mod. You are totally right, this does change how jewels will be used. And, there is chieftain strength stacking.

Bought 119% for 1d because it seemed strong for my mana stacker. I'm really glad i did it before this video.

Will be fun double corrupting magic jewels for minmaxing the build

The restriction on cluster jewel sockets is probably there to prevent extreme stacking of Voices in addition to this. Which makes sense, because that'd get really insane really quickly, like more so than what Voices already enables on its own

This jewel is insane... Just life and vaal implicits alone can elevate your build massively. Imagine having 8 5% increaed AoE vaal implicit gems. That's 8*7=56% Area of Effect (MINIMUM, as I don't know if it rounds up or down) This has some pretty nutty implications for what is possible with this jewel.

150% increased is a 2.5x multiplier. So 12% AoE per 5% implicit (it rounds down)

does this work for abyss jewels? A phys and Attack Speed Abyss jewel multiplied by 2.5 on several slots would be quite insane for SRS and several other minion builds.

Thanks for this info, now id much rather keep good 2stat magic jewels as are instead of regaling them ;) though I think the power of this jewel is very situational. Most builds will not have access to more than 5-6 jewels slots, baring in mind watchers eye and a timeless will usually still beat the effect of others jewels (and ofc forbidden flame/flesh), so the benefit isnt actually that crazy for most builds cause you "lose" one jewel slot for it.

If you consider a rare jewel worth 3 mods, then @ 100% you need 4 jewel sockets to make it equal (3*4 = 12 for magic vs. 3*4 = 12 for rare). Most builds aren't going to have 5 jewel sockets to use. Of course @ 150% it's a bit better and perhaps these jewels are easier to roll (but then you also have to consider 4 stat rare jewels, etc.)

the nice thing about this is that even if you need all the other stats that you would normally be seeking on a 4 stat once you hit 5 sockets (assumes a 150 adorn +4) you've gotten the same value of stats as you would have with strictly 5 of the 4 stat (20 instances worth of stats)

You'd have to PoB it yea. This league I think you can get a lot of flat via the warlock ascendancy so maybe less good than %. Not sure tho.

Plus you can get %strength and/or int corrupted implicits which become insane as well for life, es or mana stacking :O

I'm just waiting for GGG to fix the jewel as it currently doesn't work properly. Loading into a new area disables it and it re-enables when you change something in your jewel sockets :/

@@theswamps6589 yeah, I'd imagine farming the 4 pieces for the adorned jewel in different vaal bosses AND getting a good roll on the jewel itself would be a pain in the ass. The minion jewels are rather easier to make, just alt spamming and vaal. I made one today while doing stuff

glad I wasn't crazy for thinking this item looked absolutely nuts it would be good enough to be useful if it maxed out at 100%, that it goes up to 150% is so insane does it affect implicits too? feel like we might be seeing people double-corrupting a lot of magic jewels this league... honestly gonna be surprised if the max roll isn't nerfed within a few leagues
