Welcome to the next episode in my simple redstone series. This time I show you 2 simple piston door designs you can use every day in Minecraft 1.18.
These designs feature basic redstone methods to make a simple Piston door that you can use in every day Minecraft.
This 3x2 piston door design is really easy to build. These piston door tutorials are recorded in Minecraft 1.18 so work in that update.
For this you will need:
blocks of choice
some redstone
some sticky pistons
2 redstone torches
4 pressure plates
2 slabs
Pink wool to look like a pro redstoner

i know this is a video you posted a year ago but is there any way to make it stay open constantly until you push a button? i’m very bad with red stone and can’t figure it out

Lets say there are villagers or mobs around and you want to open it with a button. What do I need to do?

You can have a button in the floor where the pressure plate is. You might not want that though so you can just run a redstone signal to another block nearby to the circuit underneath.
One of these days you should use polished diorite to look like a pro 😁
