Hey Trish! Your hair looks really good. I love cowashing and doing my hair in the shower so I am not surprised by your results. The more moisture that is in the hair, the better the curl definition. I'm glad you like Anthony's method. tfs

Hey RaeRae...yes more water, more moisture. I remembered when I tried the curly girl method it was kind. of the same premise. That method encouraged folks to wash/cowash more often. Thank you for watching I really appreciate the support. 🥰

Gurl! I follow Shelly's channel too. I tried the Anthony Dickey method twice. I liked it but I think I need to tweak it because of my hair texture (medium to fine). I use to watch Anthony's videos when I first went natural. Your results turned out nice, love all the definition.

It's amazing how all these Americans who were braiding their hair and not washing their hair for months have found a gruwu to tell them how to wash their hair. Any one knows that getting in the shower and wetting their hair alone makes it softer, then when you condition the hair, it's even softer. I am happy that he is able to get people to wash their often, rather than taking months to do so. Nothing is worse than sitting on the bus behind a person with nothing but what looks like lint from the dryer.

Hi Shante...Yes I think the Alikay gel gave me more definition but I like the feel of the Big Poppa gel the best when I did this video.

How are y’all drying your hair? My curls look so nice when soaking wet but my hair takes forever to dry (over 24 hours) and ends up frizzing

Hi @DandyLionGoddess after applying the gel to set my curls I immediately get under my hooded dry to dry my hair. Some ladies use the hand dryer, some add a diffuser attachment to their hand dryers also. If I would air dry it would probably take my hair 24 hours or more to dry. Thank you for watching.
