Windsor Fire & Rescue Services:
WFRS Truck 1 remain on scene in the 800 Block of Ouellette Ave. hitting hot spots. Structure was unoccupied prior to the fire. No injuries reported. The on scene fire origin and cause investigation has been completed by WFRS and WPS at the overnight fire in the 800 Block of Ouellette Ave. A total loss of the building has occurred. - Windsor Fire Crews are on scene at 841 Ouellette Ave for a fully involved structure fire. Heavy fire conditions on arrival. All crews working in the defensive mode. Smoke can be seen throughout the surrounding area. Truck 1 & 2 are currently in operation attacking from the air. Multiple Windsor Police assisting with traffic control and crowd control. Essex-WindsorEMS on standby. Fire has been knocked down as of 2:00am. Firefighters will be on scene for several more hours as they continue to locate hotspots.
