    undisputable you've earned the 👑for lights... and engine bays... well done and I'd still love to see a vid on the latter 😉(even if a single bay vid has to be broken into parts like Prep, Solutions/Cleaners, Techniques, Finish.... etc as it seems a longer process and therefore a longer vid).

    I use fans to air dry or forced air dry the lights as though these clear coats made for headlights and others dry their process called chemical exchange or air exchange kind of like super glue lights reacting with the moisture in the air.. That piece you're talking about is not really able to buy I rebuild them and they're cheap and they break there are far better ones listed on Amazon that's why I do not list It... It's a personal preference that isn't quite correct like somebody who would like to dig a pool with a shovel instead of a tractor...lol New video kzread.info/dash/bejne/fndovKSuYJWwiso.htmlsi=4TaerpCinQd6d0Iu

    It should explain more in depth with this video here.. But basically visually you can see swirling better and swirling shows up better even though there's minor chance if done right that there is swirling Left behind to see through the clear coat a straight line is almost invisible so therefore it's almost erasing any kind of swirling left behind... when the maguires headlight coating wears off (in a year or 2?) to re apply do you need to re sand all over again before spraying the new coat on?

  • @theheadlightrestorationpro

    @theheadlightrestorationpro

    6 ай бұрын

    Yes it's the best way... Headlight coatings expire it's best not trying to save them instead of eliminate them and reapply.. It's best just to start fresh.. The thing with Maguire's keep clear it's extremely easy to remove when sanding probably about the easiest which makes it a great product cuz when you go to remove it you're just removing it and reapplying it....

But today let’s just say the ones on my car are 2x worse than the ones in this video 😂 the ones on my truck still look like the day I 2k cleared them but that’s to be expected since 99% of the time I keep it in a carport with the sun never hitting them.

    What a lot of people don't seem to realise is that most 2K (not just clearcoat), contain isocyanates which are 100% carcinogenic when breathed in. A normal mask will not suffice and a full positive pressure facemask is recommended. I have lost 2 colleagues back in the 80s when none of us knew the dangers. I am now a spray tutor and drill my apprentices of the dangers. Just sayin👍🏻
