Sir you said 2D means having 2 dimensions .. but line is uni dimensional . How can we use lines in a 2D composition. Isn’t suppose to use only 2D elements like shapes ?

It is the different combinations made by using mutiple lines that create illusion, depth, hiearchy, patterns, etc...which are the ingredients to make a composition.

Use of colors in 2D Compositions depends on exam to exam, for nata its not mandatory. But for further studies during B.Arch you will need to. So you can practise from beginning only.

As far as earlier year pattern, it was not allowed, but it may be an option in future. So best is to read the rules before starting you drawing in exam. ONLY USE WHEN ITS MENTIONED IN RULES.

i just thought.... can you use alphabet of other language, or is english mandatory? my exam is tomorrow and this is literally the first time im seeing how this all is done
