We played this at our daughters funeral 2 weeks ago. She passed aged just 30 years old and the music made me feel like she was being welcomed into heaven.

Every night I pour a glass of wine and listen/watch these incredibly talented men play for me. I was a cellist for many years and heard so many gifted musicians, but nothing approaches the feelings evoked by them. I wish I could have seen them in concert before they stopped touring, but I will settle for the Heaven I experience each evening here with my little dog in beautiful Mexico. ❤

Yes it evokes the same response in me, only for me it is the final goodbye as one passes away. No wonder so many use it at funerals. There are many arrangements of this piece but this is in a class of its own.

Today my mom passed away..90 years young..an amazing woman. I'm listening to this to comfort my soul. I love you Mom.

OMG, this tune has a power like no other, it's how I describe to people how I feel . also I played this loud on my car stereo at the beach yesterday as the sun went over the horizon and it put around 500-1000 people into an unrehused silence, the most beautiful and magical thing IV ever witnessed music do. a true masterpiece.

I am the last of 6 siblings. I often wonder why I'm still here. (the 2nd oldest) I know I will see them all in heaven) It still hurts though.

The passion with which they play their instruments is what makes this so beautiful. I love this version, it always moves me to tears. They feed off of and guide each other so wonderfully, that this is the end result. Its almost like the cello's are an extension of themselves. True musicians. They deserve massive audiences like this because they produce elation. ❤

Hi I was going thru some test last month to see if I had any Cancer again. Listened to this while trying not to have panick attacks. Helped . It makes You see beauty. But made me love life even more. Test good so far. To all..... people appreciate what You have . It can be taken so fast. Love Your children with Your whole Heart and Soul .. if You have a problem with quiting smoking or a drug or alcohol. Or other.. Remember it is hard enough to stay alive as it is . Nothing is stronger than Your mind to overcome it. Nothing! You deserve Your own love. You will win always. You are stronger than it. You are. You have to get use to it for a short period of time... even a bad relationship end... now without the poisons stay alive longer and enjoy the simple beauties . You haven't even seen yet. You will see the beauty then. You will. Smile more and love the simple things. ❤❤

Reading all these comments, especially of those passed or passing brought me to tears as they embraced this music for its depth of love and support to all. Many thanks for this interpretation of God's peace for the world in turmoil.

Such passion, joy, and love. When my husband became very ill, I had to set aside my cello. My mentor, best friend, the love of my life passed in February 2020. After watching and listening to these incredible souls play, I have started playing cello again. I am 81 years young. Wonder if I can take my cello to Heaven with me to play for my husband again..

Why? Silence can be a greater tribute than sudden noise. Claudio Abbado was not afraid to hold his baton in the air after the last note to force silence from the audience. I understand your enthusiasm but after such an emotional piece, I prefer silence.

This has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written and performed could not have been played better, this has given me goose bumps and made me cry tears with all sorts of emotions this really tugs at the heart strings, music has the power to reduce a grown man to reflect upon his life and to recall lost friends and loved ones. Just stunning outstanding perfrormance and tthank you to its creator Karl Jenkins thank you

I lost my wife Barbara just over three weeks ago to cancer. She loved this piece of music, but used to tell me off for playing it too loudly. How I wish she was here, now that I can play it as loudly as I like. Stay safe all

Peter, I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your wife Barbara. After my son died, I found that I could often meet with him in my dreams. He was very much alive there, And happy and free. I chant the ancient, sacred word HU , which is another word for spirit or God. The HU opened up my inner life through dreams. If interested, or curious, you can go to HU-God on KZread or go to Eckankar.org where they have the HU recording and much more. The HU brings healing, protection and divine knowledge. To anyone who chants it with love, regardless of their beliefs system.

I don't know what the composer was thinking, for me it's a morning Fairy Tale of awakening and Dawn, when all sorts of wings wake up and the first rays of the sun warm them with warm rays. This melody of tenderness is so wonderful performed by dacreats and the winners many competitions are Stjepan Houser and Luka are walking. You have given me peace and comfort. You are the best.👋👋👏👏👏👏👋👋👋👏👋👋👋👋

My favorite!! I’m feeling very stressed with life in general and I turn this on and put my hands in what I think are position and pretend I’m Hauser playing with such precision!! Ahhh, so relaxed. Love you guys!! Greetings from Texas USA 🇺🇸

I have a profoundly disabled relative, unable to speak, see and fed by tube. He is a teenager and comes to life when he hears this music. He loves it!

I'm not sure there is a more perfect piece of music on KZread. If its out there I haven't found it yet, but I don't think I will find something that speaks to the soul such as what my ears are blessed with for this 7 minutes. One day, this piece will see me off to the next life.

Absolutely my own sentiments. Ever since I was a boy soprano i have lived for my music and don't know what I would do without it. Listening to pieces like this brings peace and tranquility to my life especially in times of despair.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le. Concert qu'à joué Stjepan en Italie accompagné de Pie jésus *la Soprano* l'émotion que m'a procuré ce Concert était " Intense " par moment le Violoncelle pleure. Stjepan joue avec sa passion ! Il est extraordinaire !!!!!!

Agreed you both have such gifts you share together as soulful, skilful talents! Here just brilliant as this touches your soul when one needed comfort, faith & consoling at many times this past few years for many of us! BRAVO & CHEERS GUYS!!

If you look at their faces while they are playing, there is nothing they value more. If I could play like that I would never stop. Wish I could share this with my parents. They loved music and they are now in a place where it is celestial. I miss them and I want them to know how much I have grown and that I listen to everything beautiful, not just the Beatles.

To play a Chello is beautiful, to make it sing a real achievement. You guys can make them sing, shout, even cry...superb

I never heared this piece of music . I've feel an indescribable feeling when I have seen Hauser play this. ❤❤❤

We buried my father just 3 days ago and I have been listening to this to try and get some comfort. I miss him so much already and cant believe he is gone
