This video profiles the incredible Edwin Fasham and his two custom-built canal boats, both of them unlike anything I've ever seen before and mostly hand-built by him in his back garden!

I think we can all agree Mr. Fasham has to be one of the coolest narrow boaters you’ve ever interviewed David! Wow! This beauty reminds me of a genre/theme known as “steam punk.” At any rate this boat is by far one of the best you’ve ever interviewd!! What an amazing concept! One of my fav videos

Steampunk lives on a canal boat! What a wonderful demonstration of one man's ingenuity. That tunnel light just lifting up on its scissor jack just left me laughing, why not lift it up like that? But wait, where is the screw thread to make it lift? Maybe I didn't see that bit. Of course the chimney drops by a motor operating hinge, doesn't everybody's? What an awesome motor and so clean. Quite obviously this is all a work of love and passion from one of Martha's Sons. The Rivets 500 is a stunning little craft and the side benefit of it being able to "tug" a full-sized canal boat is just so impressive. Thank you, David, for bringing us these fun creations of Edwin, I certainly want to see more of his engineering marvels.
