@@tanyaharrison961 The size of the voice coil isn't what just matters, it's also the material of the former (aluminum will have greater heat dissipation as opposed to mylar or paper), as well as the thickness of the wire around the former. Also, try finding a pre-made standmount speaker like that with a larger voice coil. BTW, that's a Mylar tweeter, which leaves a bit to be desired but it can make noise. But a piezo tweeter is effectively just a decorative disc that makes virtually no noise, and can easily be drowned out by anything else. The unit in entirety appears to be a Paradigm. They made good bangs for the buck, with minor corner cutting but are really quite nice speakers if you can find them cheap (and in pairs).

I made up that name many years ago. It was originally from a game called Mafia 2, where one one of the characters had really weird looking triceps so I came up with the term, “JoeTricep”
