Depends on the impedance of the speaker. At 4 ohms I can get 1100 watts, and at 8 I can get about 700

I blew a pair of store-brand sporting earbuds, that in comparison, were as tough as those Kickers. They took my reciever's full volume. They almost lasted 20 seconds when I plugged them into a 12V transformer.

It would have been interesting, if you placed pipes or tubes of various lengths, in the bass reflex port of the tower speaker that was leaned back. if the right length of pipe was used, it would give much more bass, with less cone excursion on the woofer. Then, of course, add more power! I was impressed, to see how much the 15" ALNICO woofer flexed, especially, with the paper surround. I've never seen a paper speaker surround that could do that. The car subwoofer box just needed some 'impact maintenance', to get rid of the buzzing.

They were wall mount speakers. They were dual voice coil and the board was for that. One of the kickers had a repaired cone and the box was kinda shitty

And the AlNiCo driver. They sound like ass because the new amps cannot handle the drivers. They were HIGH IMPEDENCE. I was also kinda like what when he blew the AlNiCo because they are expensive. The exact reason they stopped making them except for a specialty market.

Plexiglass is a huge no-no for bandpass subs (or really, any sub). They will resonate like crazy and greatly affect the efficiency of the enclosure that allows the driver to perform. Especially with a bandpass enclosure, where the nature of these enclosures are extremely parameter sensitive, and are thus very unforgiving of any errors.
