  • @AmadeuShinChan

    @AmadeuShinChan

    Жыл бұрын

    @@Nata-ch2bk The point is that there is no point, what is the point of jumping higher than someoen else? Or running faster than everyone else? This guy was faster than anyone else on a bycicle ever, and the towing that is part of the record does not take away of that fact. It is extremely dangerous to do that. If there is a tiny stone on the track, it could cause a fatal accident. Keeping the bike straight at such a speed must be quite difficult. And keeping it balanced after letting go of the rope as well. But if you can do better than Elias Schwärtzler, do it. See how that goes for you. The point of guiness world record may be to show accomplisments, that are for the fun, not necessarily always for economic-gain... but that is how we are supposed to "function" in this soviety: Eat work sleep repeat. Is that what we want though??

Reason is if mechanically something goes bad it might lock the rear. Same can be achieved just by removing the chain but they want it to look as a stock bike. How do i know? They don't give us any buzz from the hub, which 99.9% of bikers dying to hear. Still amazing and really hard to break this record, even daring..

    @@Joeymga6 Just watched his on board video on his Instagram. Video finishes with the certificate that states 272kmph ON A STANDARD BICYCLE. Yes it's a high end mountain bike and no doubt very expensive but it's standard as in it is as you would buy it from the shop as a mass produced bicycle to use as a bicycle in a regular way. That is, it is not a one off custom machine that can be technically called a bicycle but has been designed for the purpose of being towed behind a motorcycle at 169mph.

    Probably packed the freehub with super thick grease so it wouldn’t engage, it never showed him taking a pedal stroke let alone actually self powering the bike, I don’t really understand the point of this record. Sure it’s scary but it didn’t even rely on gravity or power. A gravity powered speed record or a drafting speed record are way more impressive to me. I’m curious how he stopped though, the motorcycle obviously has way better brakes designed for that level of speed but the MTB I would think would torch the pads and warp the rotors really quick but brakes are needed since they are attached by a rope
