Great little video, thanks. I think I have pretty much decided now to put one on my Ineos Grenadier when it arrives. Not a criticism but they are called "GUY" ropes not guide ropes.

Did you order online ? When i got mine i seen online it was backorder so i rang them up and managed to get 1 of there next shipment in and paid a deposit to secure it.. You could try that .

Thanks for sharing. Did you use the factory L brackets from The Bush Company, if so, what position did you set yours in to clear the tailgate being open? As they have Low, Middle, and Upper positions on the L brackets. Are you able to open/close tailgate with the Awning out?

I didn't use the factory brackets from the bush company, I had a base rack platform so I got some brackets from kaon to suit the arb base rack the tailgate still just touched the the awning arm.

did you use the standard brackets that came with awning to fix to arb base rack?

No i bought the Kaon bracket suited for arb base rack.

Hi Chrispy, great video. Did you consider 270XT vs 270 XT Max. Looks like 270 XT is more user friendly.

Hey mate, asking on behalf of my folks who have a 200 aswell, does the tailgate open fine without hitting the awning? They're looking at buying this exact awning but want to make sure it clears the tailgate, cheers mate.

Yes it does but by millimetres but depending what roof rack your running i have the base rack from Arb which is very low . Also the brackets i had the kaon brackets to suit the base rack the brackets you get with the awning are higher for more adjustment .

Be great awning built well but how big is it ? Looks like a telegraph pole hanging on side of your 200 series, was a good looking 200 now it looks like Grandpa Crispy Toyota 😂 seriously uncle Johnny wouldn’t drive around with a big log on his Ute would he Johnny’s 😎 Crispy sometimes biggest isn’t the best ?
