After 2 months of waiting (which was advertised) my Bush Company 270 XT Max Awning arrived and I wasted no time in getting it on my truck.
I hope you enjoyed a more relaxing style of video and that it helped in a small way to cure your boredom.
For those interested in owning the world's largest and strongest 270 degree awning then don't hesitate to pick up a Bush Company product. As a former welder for a food-grade stainless steel automation manufacturing company I have an eye for detail, strength, and quality, and this awning carries all three in spades. Everything from the thickness of the packaging to the strength of the arms and the weight of the fabric screams "I AM BUILT WELL!" The install took about 6 hours with filming with a relaxed pace, and it was very enjoyable. As far as the use of the product goes I am currently testing it and will have a full review at a later date.

Your video is great by far best one out there you took your time and showed everything even from putting the screws in the brackets and end up why did you cut your video short and take off the 270 at the end I live in Orange County California and just bought one myself can’t wait for the delivery thanks again

That was a blooper just to end it in a light hearted way. The awning actually fell when we were putting it on without the bag and that is the blooper. I still have it installed on my truck and absolutely love it. That’s so awesome you got one. Did you get the max or the standard 270?
Any issues with mounting it to the Leitner rack? the website is very specific about what roof top tents to mount it to

Zero issues at all. I used the supplied heavy duty brackets from Bush Company and mounted those to the top of my Leitner crossbars using Leitner hardware. It’s stupid strong too!
Thanks for sharing the process. After test fitting before adding the bag, how did you undo the nuts and keep the bolts in the correct position (without them sliding)? Did you mark their positions with a marker?

Great question! The Bush Company supplies double the nuts you need to attach the awning to your vehicle. The reason is to use one set to lock the bolts in place during the fitting process, and the other is to simply attach the awning to the brackets. Hopefully 8:12 in the video helps out with that.
