Im pretty sure the problem is the Lego box. It stops the airflow and due to that ur CPU temp is high. Yw

Cpu temps are oddly high for gaming though not sure what cpu you are running. The crash is probably cpu/ram related since when i used to overclock and undervolt my cpu i would get similar crashes and it was an easy fix just had to tinker a bit in the bios.

This. I'm not too concerned by the temps, many new chips are HOT HOT (AMD likes to push their cpus to the max) and they withstand this temps easily. Already had this kind of error with many games, it was because of XMP and RAM speed, if he disables XMP in the BIOS it's gonna work easily
