Bery good🎉😊
Very well done ... Tull songs not easy to replicate. For those that like haunting type songs listen to Jonathan Kelly and 'The Cursed Anna's Stare'
Bloody good mate!
excellent rendition!
Very well done!
I adore this most beautiful song. I can almost feel the woods and grass and the breeze blowing between the leaves.... The most melodious song Ian ever wrote, and one of his best delightful folk songs. Your rendition is superb. cttgaegoaktd 😛😛😛😛😛😛😛
Enjoyed that thank you

Good job, the vocals can't be easy to do, and you pulled it off. This brilliant Jethro Tull song is as fresh as it was in 1970.
Damn! Nobody gets the vocal ups and downs Anderson is so great at but you nailed it. This is no easy song vocally but you did a great job covering it and great guitar work also.
Everything is brilliant, I'd love to hear you do teacher!
I am from Greece and Jethro Tull is my favourite band..Good job mate!

Very nice rendering great song excellent cover
You are a very accomplished musician.
Wow just Wow. The voice is just perfect for Ian’s song. You could nail all of Tulls ballads and I just love your take on this one.
Excellent

You are very talented Stewart. Like your versions of Tull tracks.

Nicely done
You did that justice.
Great job, man!
Fantastic version. Thanks.
Lovely, thank you
You did a nice job Stuart and quite a lot of guitar detail just on one instrument. There's just something so haunting about this song - one of their best. And I Anderson has got talent coming out of his ears. Magical. Best Kevin

Thank you so much George
This was awesome - you hit everything
I’ve been following your channel for a while and I’ve come to expect a VERY high standard of performance from you, but this is an incredibly difficult song to pull of vocally - Ian multi-tracks his voice on the original, because the legato is so tough. Yet you manage it without any tricks! Truly superb. Bravo!

😀
Perfect as usual!
Nicely done.
Bravo!
Believing he listened why laughing you flew😎
Nice mate x
Once again mate you really cover Tull better than any English-speaking bloke I’ve ever seen. Do you happen to write too because you definitely have the voice and guitar better than most musicians. Maybe just a hobby to play-that’s cool too. I know some musicians I work with that do music on the side, but you are probably equal to them. Did you cover Steve Winwood or the late Greg Lake? I enjoy your music very much

Thank you so much. Yes I write songs too, but wouldn’t ever inflict them on the world.

Excellent! Well done that ma. (Can you show chords ?)

The chords are Verse: A (open chord) C, G (with B in the bass), Asus2 3rd line of verse: C, D, A (open chord), C, D, A (open chord), E Last line of verse: A, A, G, D First part of Middle 8: A & G Second part of Middle 8: G, D, A, A x3 But as with all Tull songs, it’s the ornamentals around the chords that make the difference. So at the start of the verse, when Ian sings “call you a…”, the bass flips from A to a G in the bass, for example. Hopefully you can see the way I do the ornamentals in the version here.
