These trucks are fantastic! small and practical and the hopper never fills up. I would love to see the rotopresses back in the UK as they seem to have disappeared from out streets. Also, a very quick and efficient crew.
Looks to be a Japanese clone of the old KUKA rotaries, or the Laird Shark, or the Eagle Speedyload model made in the UK years ago. Amazing thing to watch. This model appears to differ in only one respect, the drum turns anti-clockwise.

It works well it is an auger screw.The front that turns is made to pull the trash in and when it gets full it tries to squeeze back out and it gets all tore up.It is actually a very efficent compactor with way less parts that regular garbage trucks if you ask me.!!hope i helped you?

Neat. I remember seeing the spiral garbage truck when I was in Japan, but I never got to see one in action. It seems to work pretty well! The Japanese like to put their garbage in blue bags.

+MIDNIHT SUN They simply lift the tailgate, and reverse the drum. It then sicks all the garbage out , rather like a cement mixer.
Really Clogs are the footwear of choice on that job?

Riley Murphy not sure where this is, but I believe this is somewhere in Japan. Every area has a bag color for every waste type, and I am going to guess that blue is for burnable waste.

+BOYCOTT PC They DO take large items, have a look at Classic Refuse Trucks videos on here of the KUKA 215, and you'll see these could eat almost anything !

Rotary packers can take anything that the auger can bite on. See those big blades when they sweep the garbage up to the right? Those are part of one big auger and will break anything too large to go through.

非常に長い尺で、収集の一連の流れがよく分かっていいですね。よく観察すると、生ごみを投入した際に汚水が飛び散らないように、一旦ゲートを閉じて収集作業をしたり、作業員の何気ない配慮が感じ取れますね。ロータリー車の魅力を存分に感じられる一本ですね。
