25500 Horsepower Engines Exits Tunnel in Bhor Ghat
Seen here are 3 WAG7 locos with 5500 HP each and 2 WDG4D locos with 4500 HP each. So in total this train has 25500 HP but all are braking dynamically to maintain speed limit on the gradient section. Train exits Tunnel 40 and enters Tunnel 39 on this 3rd UP Line. You can observe that the some is escaping out of tunnel, i.e. because Brake shoes/pads are contineously rubbing the wheels so heat is produced and some part of brake pads are burnt which results in Smoke. bro. it's not a 25500 HP locomotive . The train running with 5 locomotives total power is 23000 HP .
