Great job of showing rail action from India. I grew up watching Alco's in the 60's and 70's. Nice to see some of them still putting miles for other countries. It is nice to see freight under wires. Keep up the good work.

Strange - Everyone of the Train Engine is Diesel, Than Why did they Build Electric Infra Structure. ??

a nice compilation. speaking of diesel locos, it seems Indian railways is not willing to invest in a loco reverser as i saw a lot of diesel single cab locos being run in reverse. loco pilot view is very restricted when driven in reverse (long hood ahead). apart from alcos, all single cab diesel loco has a good open view when driven with cab in front. though i will admit, it will be less of an issue on DFC than it is on regular tracks but in India, people often cross the tracks at any location so the loco pilot has to be alert at all times.

@@InfraGujarat well, my question was not why he put diesel loco in the video, but rather why the govt is using diesel locos instead of electric ones when overhead cables are available and using electricity is cheaper instead of importing oil.

Why alcos running Western freight corridor all rout are electrified no why Indian railway are alcos in this route......

I can see Diesel-Electric locomotives from Alco, General Motors as well as General Electric ⚡️ ⚡️ All of them built using American 🇺🇸 Technology But could not spot a single (pure) electric ⚡️ ⚡️ locomotive 🚂
