Technically the error in Weezing's sprite can just be ignored if you look at it from the perspective that Weezing is tilted to almost be facing downwards.

Ghetsis definitely had a stroke that heavily deteriorated the right side of his body, it's a pretty frequent occurrence with strokes that one entire hemisphere of the body just gets heavily impaired and deteriorated.

I think Zekrom still has 4 hands. Its wings look exactly like its hands. I never noticed that until now

Believe me, for a long time I also thought Zekrom's wings were literally hands similar to that of Lugia. But later on as Gen 5 started to come to America in 2010/2011, I realized his three small claws were his actual hands instead of his large wings...And yet he flies just like Dialga for some reason compared to Reshiram.

I noticed Ghetsis rants a lot about "perfection" and that he would be the "perfect ruler of a perfect world." I wonder if this has something to do with the damaged right side of his body. It's possible that he is trying to compensate for his imperfect right side by trying to create a "perfect" world. This can also be seen how he treats N. He calls N a "freak," despite the fact that his right side is deformed.

Green hair [between Bianca's blonde and Cheren's "very dark blue"], black and white hat and shirts, greyish eyes, and his pendant has a mix of amber and blue, like the flames and blue-electricity of the dragons. Natural is also the musical symbol between Flat (Bianca- the lowercase b resembles a flat] and a Sharp (Cheren- the uppercase H resmbles a sharp). It's a musical region.

The name "Cheren" comes from the Bulgarian ceren, meaning "black." Similarly, Bianca comes from the Italian bianca, meaning "white." This also reminds me of the keys on a piano. N's full name is Natural Harmonia Gropius, with Natural Harmonia furthering the musical theme.

Colress is also a perfect symbol of balance. His hair basically has a mix of amber and blue colors that you mentioned which looks like N's pendant. His name basically means Colorless. He is also the first character in mainline games whose character design is based on Hexagon shapes like his belt loops and his eye shape. The shape of Unova is basically Hexagon. I think there is a connection between Paldea and Unova lol.

I’ve never understood the criticism of the gen 5 Pokémon. They all felt like they shared a cohesive style and you would be able to tell which gen they were from at a glance. Every gen since has felt like a strange mishmash of ideas and concepts that don’t always work together and most modern mons just feel goofy to me. If we are talking about some of the worst designs in the series then pretty much all of gen 7 are at the top.

As far as Ghetsis' drooping mouth, that's a common sign of stroke. Considering the blacked right arm, I'd say he likely had a bad experience at some point with Zekrom, and he got electrocuted so badly that he had a stroke. It's exceedingly rare, but there have been 9 confirmed cases where it happened

Fun fact: N's character is is based on the concept "Mushin" which is the state of mind Taoist meditators attempt to achieve, wherein there is pure innocence and no knowledge of good and evil. This also translates to "no heart", which a term Ghetsis used to refer N.

Loved the idea that Liepard is inspired by a leopard not changing its spots... as a phrase about deviousness! Mind blown!

The Vinilish line is also based on ice stalagmites. Very dangerous if you were ever hit by one

I never notice how Ghetsis had trouble opening the right side of his mouth. I should have picked up on that because I had a teacher back in highschool who had a condition I believe is called Bell's Palsy that caused the exact same thing to the poor guy. It's caused by facial nerve damage and even something cranial nerve damage and looked a lot like ghetsis when he sppoke. The first time I was in his classroom, I was really worried there would be a lot of mocking because highschoolers can be the absolute worst sometimes. But luckily he was rather well liked by teachers and students alike, always being a good sport about his condition.

Gen5 is my favorite 🤍🖤. What i liked about Ghetsis was his ruthlessness; he was not afraid to kill a child to reach his goals. He took Lily as a hostage in USUM and I wasn't suprised. The bit about the music and concerts is really cool considering gen5 has a beautiful soundtrack.

Dude, I was there back in 2009/2010 when everyone hated the gen and I'm over here like "Well, combine that with Electronic Dance Music like Usher, David Guetta, Laidback Luke and the like, combine with the darker mature story of Generation 5, it was the perfect fit for me in 7th/8th grade at that time. I was one of those people that loved Gen 5 as I did with Gen 1 adn 2, me returning to the franchise after a 4 year hiatus from 2005 to 2009. And yet I felt like I was the only one who liked Gen 5 compared to all the others, and seeing the hate I saw back then, I know someday that people will eventually love it. And nowadays, apparently, everyone loves the generation now. I really don't know why people hated it in the first place and now they like it after a decade has passed...Very weird I would say.

I'd actually prefer that the Unova remakes come next gen. Not only would it be more time to polish it, but it'd also follow a neat trend that each gen (except Kanto) gets their remake in the gen that is double their number. Gen 2 was remade in 4, 3 was in 6, and 4 was in 8. So 5 would then be in 10 if the pattern holds. Kanto is the exception (unless you count revisiting Kanto in the Gen 2 post games, but that's stretching it).

Wanna point out ghetsis most likely isn't "deformed" but burned. The blackened skin denotes some serious burns to the point that it's insane he can even use it to lift that crown, and his mouth is stretched taught just like burn victims with 3rd degree burns on his face. I feel like it's even mentioned somewhere that he's burned but I'm not too sure about that one. Either way the guy is charbroiled on his right side Edit:I was thinking about the hydreigon theory, seeing as his hydreigon has 0 friendship and is a nasty pokemon to begin with it's pretty likely it got sick of him at one point and tried to fight back. Kinda concerning to consider what was done in retaliation to make it still listen even after doing that much damage to ghetsis but this is ghetsis we are talking about so not exactly surprising

As an aside, a real issue with the Klink line is that the back sprites and front sprites turn the same direction from your point of view, which shouldn't happen. That essentially means they reverse just because you're looking at them differently.

I just hope if we DO get new unova games, they will keep the tradition of black 2 and white 2 and add in a possible challenge mode that can make things more "difficult" for players. It'd also add a little bit of replayability to the game, unlike what we've been getting so far on games. I WOULD have restarted legends arceus, but after completing the pokedex in that thing fully I never wanna do it again 😅 I want so bad to get remakes of black and white 2 in a style like what we got for diamond and pearl but with new stuff, like maybe us finally getting a peak at the OG dragon

What if Pokemon Z was supposed to go backward in time (instead of forward)? The ghost girl in X and Y is upset that you are not the previous hero from Pokemon Z. That note at the station is a leftover from some event that happened in the past in Pokemon Z. That would make X and Y feel even more oddly empty, but it's the only thing I can think of that makes both work. Maybe Zygarde still needs put together, so that's where the cells and cores would have come into play if not added into Sun and Moon? And the kalos power plant still hasn't tightened it's security yet, so you can finally check the whole area out? It would be fun to create a whole pre-story for this.

Yo hoops i just found a crazy hint to the gen 10 Pokemon games particularly in which region will the game take place and that region is none in India and the Hint lies within the part of legends storyline as the objective is to find magical herbs to cure an injured Pokemon that can't be healed by any other method if you notice this is very similar to an occurrence in the Ramayana ( one of the sacred books of India ) where the brother of lord Rama is struck by an arrow and can only be heal by the mythical Sanjivani plant and so the devotee of lord Ram Hanuman goes to a mountain to fetch the herb there are also many other references to india in Pokemon sv for eg Geeta the champion of paldea is an Indian name we know how game freak like to tease the next Pokemon games in advance by leaving some clues in the previous game so could possibly be a hint towards an Indian region

So every sign with Ghetsis seems to suggest that he had a stroke at least partially paralyzing the right side of his body. That doesn’t explain his necrotic arm.

That Haxorus fact makes my imagination run wild with the fact that Gen 10's Pokemon and region are already being designed and ironed out. Africa Japan China Australia Greece West USA Central America India Any one of these could be the region's inspiration

My favorite double battle Pokémon duo is seismitoad with either an electric type with the levitate skill or a flying type

I think the Gelatwino-line are ok pokemons but something is missing. I think they should have the ghost-type as well. I mean they look a bit like ghosts and with some more spooky features like glowing purple eyes they could be very extraordinary pokemon.

Shelders eye is not missing. It's just hidden behind Slowbros body. And who says marowak needs to hold his bone in the same hand all the time? Weezing is not off either. It's just angled down in the sprite and angled up on the artwork. The third segment is actually on the same level as the other two.

What if Ghetsis tried to tame Reshiram and Zekrom multiple times, zekrom zapping his eye, and reshiram burning half of his body.

The Skyla fact likely is just a beautiful coincidence since Pokemon was originally in Japanese, and their Japanese names don't fit that scheme. Unless you want to tell me the Japanese devs purposely made a fact that can only be seen in English... hmmm Considering how good average Japanese people's English is, unless you tell me this part was suggested by James Turner (who was the only foreign dev in GameFreak) I am very skeptical about this not being a coincidence.

can you do more legendary groups getting more members? Creation trio's new member, Dragon/Electric, because of the Solid Liquid Gas, it would represent Plasma, as it is the fourth state of matter (i know the Original Dragon is considered a fourth member but it does not have an official design yet). Tao trio's fourth member, Zekrom and Reshiram are yin and yang Kyurem is wuji, the two Fusions are the bad within the good and the good within the bad, so there being one for Taiji isn't a bad idea. and a Galarian version of Rocuatro would be cool, and also you usually do three or more so you can throw that in there if you wish to that is. (these are just things to go off on and i think they would be cool)

It wasn't "random" at all. Masuda is a composer, so having his music performed where some of the biggest names in music have also performed was something he REALLY wanted to happen. While it didn't work out the way he wanted, I can understand his aspiration goal. Sadly the truth was it was too difficult to pull off a concert, but I feel he should look into it again. As long as you're alive, you still have opportunities to reach your goals, after all.

@BreloomsGarden I've just replayed bw this week and I can agree it's a bit slower especially the first few gyms. But bw 2 fix that and make it so much better. I highly reccomend the second games but if your able to play through the first one as quick as possible just to get a gist of the story it pays off.
