One day I got sucker punched did not hit back we both got 3 days off The next week I came up behind the kid that hit me used a book hit him in the neck and kicked him while on ground about 10 times we both got another 3 days off He never came near me again. In today's era I would have went to jail

Thanks zero tolerance policies, now the kid who defends him or her self has to be punished in the same way as the bully! In many cases, that can mean a criminal record that will permanently bar them from most careers, getting business licenses, being allowed to own guns, etc when they grow up!

Some teachers don't understand that their students get periods and they need to leave the class to take care of it or perhaps they were late to class because the period comes all of a sudden and they can't hold that (Obviously). I've heard of students not being allowed to go to the bathroom despite bleeding in their seats. I'm sorry you're afraid of biology, but it's the truth.

Yes that's the truth. Also I myself have a very small bladder, it took me a long time to adust my eating and drinking to prevent me from having accidents in class..luckily I only had 1 yr of accidents b4 my teachers learned I could NOT hold it..even after Dr.s' notes, but it took my parents moving and me changing schools b4 I lost the horrible name calling and stigma of my classmates and teachers back then seeing me wet my pants in public.

Yes! Our playground at my private school in the 80's would be considered a death trap these days. And it was FUN! This was on the older kids playground (4th - 6th). We had two 3 level (3 stories) wooden structure connected by a rubber vehicle tire bridge. There were stairs and ladders to get up and down and if you wanted to get down to the sand levem from the 3rd or 2nd level quickly, you rode down the fireman's pole! Fun! The younger kids playground had the old school mary go round, metal slide, metal geodesic climbing structure and other things that were super fun but wouldn't be seen on playgrounds these days. I'm glad I was born in 1974! These kids today have no clue.

My generation, The Boomers, has taken the fun out of school. We rebelled against our parents. We wore all kinds of clothes to school. We even put our Halloween candy in our lunch. What happened to us???? Facial hair ban must has been put in place by male faculty who were just jealous they couldn't grow a decent beard or moustache.

Actually, it’s traditional for male teachers to have facial hair. Shaving ones’ face was a sign of respect.

My son was in high school at the time. I was visiting him between classes to tell him I was working late that night and supper was in the fridge. I got a call from my boss and was speaking to him. A teacher walked up to me and took my phone and walked away. Of course this infuriated me. I told her that was rude and give back my phone. She said, no phone means no phones. I went into principals office raging. I of course got my phone back with an apology. The teacher claimed she thought I was a student. Pfft. I was head to toe in my officers uniform. She was just being a huge C

When I was in HS there was this thug that attacked me in a classroom one morning. In self defense I took a few shots at him. Both of us got written up. Knowing he was going down, he told the principal I hit him, and me being a total idiot said I did, not knowing that I too would be suspended. But he started it. Doesn’t matter. Completely and absolutely unreasonable. What the hell are you supposed to do?

I hated school. It was prison. All I wanted to do is be outside in woods, swimming, build forts, hang with dad in barn.

When I was in eight grade, we kept receiving bomb threats in the bathrooms and they could figure out who was writing them. So they took extreme measures. They locked all the bathrooms except for the ones across from the Principal's office. They also had them monitored and made us sign in, also go in one by one. During the 5 mins in between classes, they locked those bathrooms as well. One day during the 5 min in between classes, a student had to go. Well the student took it upon himself to go right there in the hallway right in front of the bathrooms, in front of the hall monitors and in front of all the students. As disgusting as it was, we were all kind of proud that somebody finally stood up in protest.

Two crazy rules my daughters had at their schools: 1. My daughter was in 3rd, I taught her how to write her name in cursive. Which I found out later wasn't allowed and she could get suspended for doing so. 2. When my oldest daughter was in 6th grade, she was required to shower in a communal shower with the other girls. If she didn't shower with them, she would get an F in P.E. She took the F.

We had a communal shower in our locker room - just like shown in the movie "Carrie". I was in high school in 88/89 - 91/92. We didn't think anything of it because it's just how it was and we were all girls. I would have preferred a private shower, though. The private school I attended in elementary school has a middle and upper school and their locker room had private showers which we were able to use when we had out swimming unit in gym class.

I didn't even show up at PE for an entire year. Forced participation in sports that I cared nothing about just showed my ineptness at them and gave the jocks even more reason to bully me. 8 years of this and I said fuck it I'm not going to gym anymore.

@@Flamsterette do you realize grammar "Nazi" is actually a mental disorder? When kids learn grammar it takes a huge portion of the brain's capacity. After they learn grammar, right or wrong, it becomes "automatic" like walking. This frees up the brain to learn productive and survival skills. You, however, are stuck in the grammar learning phase where you have very limited brain capacity. In other words grammar is all you know. That's why it bothers you so bad. Normal people are intelligent enough to understand mistakes in grammar without giving it a second thought. You should go see a psychiatrist. They can help.

I agree completely. I prefer to foster an authentic atmosphere. How are you suppose to heal and overcome a potentially issue if you don’t acknowledge it? I think it’s very important to validate and reassure people that whatever they are feeling emotionally is normal. We all have our ups and down. I encourage everyone to live their lives authentically.

Sure. If you smile even when you are sad. Then you can stop knowing how to not smile. And later forget to even acknowledge that feeling in yourself. Which can give you REALLY big problems later in life. Like personal disorders and depressions. I can testify on that. at Age 30 I am finaly starting to let myself not please others and smile when hurt. And have had a cronicle depression for many years.. Others: "Look at that pretty little smile.. You are always sooo happy. It's so wonderful.." You in your head: "I have a sea of tears inside. How am I ever gonna feel good again."

The flaming hot Cheetos willl be confiscated...and eaten by the teachers no doubt!

For many of these rules and stupid local laws/ordnances, some joker gets the idea of "this should be a law" and it gets made. As for stupid rules like not using red to grade papers, we need to stop worrying about hurting kids feeling and start teaching them that real life doesn't care about their feelings. Many of the riots we've been dealing with over the last few years is that people aren't learning how to deal with adversity and disagreement.

I went to a local Christmas crafts fair with a friend. I'm Jewish, she's Christian. At one point, Santa Claus walked past and said "Merry Christmas" to me. I replied "Happy Hanukkah", to which he said "Thank you!" 😊

I had a third grade teacher who was a stickler for perfect cursive. My mom had taught me cursive the year before so I already knew how, but I'm not very coordinated so my penmanship was less than beautiful. She made me --an otherwise outstanding student-- do my homework over and over and over, sometimes for a week, until she was satisfied. Ruined my self confidence and left me with a complex about writing that lasted decades. And never improved my handwriting either.

I know a few ppl who would chain smoke during lunch because of this rule.

One time my sophomore year of High School, I just barely got to bio class on time (I think actually was like 30 seconds late) and as I sat down I realized I forgot my bio class supplies (textbook, binder). I asked the teacher if I could step out and get my stuff from my locker (which was legit right across the hallway) and while he was ok with it some student was like "OH COME ON!" Teacher IMMEDIATELY shouted at him to shut up, followed with "His locker is right across the hall, dude!"

This may be a pair of unpopular opinions: I see nothing wrong with school uniforms. Many work places have strict dress codes and some clothing is used as gang signs. If you "finish" all of your work in study hall, that does not mean that you should be able to disturb other people. When I was in high school, my hearing was as sharp as could be, thus I heard EVERYTHING.

Since my locker was so far away from all my classes and I had 4 minutes between classes, I never used my locker, I kept everything in a drawstring bag because backpacks are banned for wearing to your classes because apparently you can hide a gun in a backpack but not a drawstring bag according to whoever made that rule, we also couldn't wear our winter jackets to class and we had to leave them in our locker, but I didn't use my locker so I never wore a winter jacket to school, and I live in Buffalo where it easily gets down below 20 degrees in the winter and sometimes below 10

We used whatever locker was closest that was a friend's. I had 3 friends using mine at various times and I had 4 places to put books. It was insane. But we also had to move it all when they were going to inspect because it was against the rules to use other lockers. But when my first period is in the A building and my second is on the other end, upstairs of the main building, you can't hit the locker in the B hall and get there in time.

I wore school uniforms from grade one through eight. It didn't warp me or destroy my sense of individualism. School uniforms are good. As soon as I got to Catholic high school with no uniform, there was clothing-related hassels I never experienced in grade school.

I started shaving at twelve had a goatee at fourteen and the school never said a thing and I was a big hit with the ladies

My son is in highschool and he only has 3 minutes between classes and the school is huge. He doesn't have time to use his locker, but yet I still had to pay $35 for him to get one before he would be allowed to have his class schedule. Also peanut butter is not allowed at school at all or he will get detention. Also the girls are not allowed to wear headbands or anything in their hair.

Peanut butter rule may be due to students having severe allergies. Or teachers. I know on my inpatient ward, if we get a person with a severe food allergy .. we temporarily ban that food in the hospital to prevent complications. (14 bed hospital so not very big)

@@warailawildrunner5300 I kinda get the no peanut butter rule, but I also think it's a lil silly. We had kids at my school when I was growing up that had allergies to it, but they knew not to eat it. It wasn't band throughout the school district. But I also see where it's better to be safe than sorry.

Honestly, I'm not saying I agree or disagree with any of those rules. I'm just saying that teaching in a public school for a week or two might change your perspective on a few of them.

I liked wearing a uniform when I went to school because it took a way the pressure of finding what to wear when I had very little clothes. I showed my individuality by decorating my books and notebooks and heck, just being me.

School uniform can also be used to hide the inequalities between the relative wealth of the students parents as there is less pressure to buy the latest fashion for either sex. School uniform for the local schools ,or some anyway, is just the school colour polo shirt with the school badge embroidered on it ,and black or grey trousers.

Agree but, some parents are so unworthy of having kids that they won't bother to buy a spare set OR do the laundry (regardless of how wealthy in fact) and as a result, kids going through puberty will smell big time after wearing the same outfit for a whole week. It happened in my class and we all felt sorry for the dude.

My middle and highschool had a dress in gender appropriate clothing rule. (This was torture as I'm trans)

that last rule is truth: in 5th grade i was doing physical therapy after my foot got sprained in a tiny pothole on my way to catch the bus, so i told my therapist i needed to go to bathroom she said no your almost done... i then told her i take medication that makes me loose extra water in my body making me need to go more... she looked at me like i was nuts and after i finished i peed my pants from doing sit ups and got in trouble for it saying i acted like a toddler and act maturely... my mom then went straight to principal to explain my medication and why i need more breaks to go if i need to...

We didn’t get detention, but chewing gum was “banned in school” (you would be told to spit it out if caught chewing it)

How would you even enforce that BS "no best friends" rule? That rule makes no sense!

AKA Reminds Me Of "The Public Displays Of Affection" Terminology When I Attended School!

When I was in High School during the 1980s some of the school rules were out of this world. We had such rules as,,,,,, NO toilet time during any lesson NO more than three people in the toilets at any one time. You had to stand EVERYTIME a teacher walked into the classroom. And my favourite of all time.... Because the High School I went to was an all boys school there was a rule stating that any pupil found looking at a female teacher for too long would be sent to the head of year to explain themselves if said teacher felt uneasy about the look. 👩‍🏫👀😍😘 There were many more stupid rules. EDIT: (The number one spot). Being told by a school and/or teacher that you can't go to the toilet is, 1, out of order. 2, (as you said) dangerous & 3, against your human rights. If a teacher tells you (after you have politely seeked permission) that you can't go you are FULLY entitled to walk out the classroom without being punished. OR you can sit there & wet yourself then sue the school AND the teacher.

Hence parents having to send the child to school with a note explaining that the child had diarrhoea / doirea / dire rear / diaorrear / the runs / however each parent spelled it and to please let him go the toilet whenever needed.

I am an elementary and preschool teacher. In my 20 plus years of teaching, the majority of teachers that I have encountered are exactly the kinds of teachers that I strive not to be. I actually talk about it in my standup act. It drives me nuts when I hear frumpy, sun hat wearing polyester clad women yell at kids on the playground who go head first down the slide or swing on their bellies. "ON YER POCKETS!! GO DOWN THE SLIDE ON YER POCKETS!!" They always sound like angry prison wardens from Minnesota.

My school system had a rule about girls not being able to wear pants. The rule was thankfully changed the year I started junior high. 😊

The problem with chewing gum is students discarding it by sticking it to their desks, bathroom walls, trees or dropping chewed gum on floors.

My daughters school only allows 3 bathroom passes a month i fought it hard and failed so i pulled her out of that school

That is why I was glad my school never had a bathroom past (I live in New Zealand) instead you could go multiple times a day. If multiple people went to the bathroom at once you might have been asked to wait though.

I was always against school. I hated it, I always thought, and still do to this day, of it as being like prison. Its essentially en indoctrination centre, not a centre for learning. The conditions at school are very unfavourable for learning. Now its important to have a facility with a structured framework so as to teach discipline and structure, but not at the expense of a child's individuality. For instance, I agreed with school uniforms. A school should be ideally a centre for LEARNING, not a fashion show, and being obligated to wear a uniform is actually very practical. When I was in private school and had to wear a uniform, it was great. The uniforms themselves were nothing impressive, but every single morning before school, I always knew what to wear, so it was quick, easy, simple, efficient and practical. Also, other kids cannot laugh at you for what you are wearing, as they wear the same shit. I think ALL schools should have uniforms, BUT, they should also let students be themselves and adapt their teaching methods to how each student learns. The TRUE responsibility of a teacher is NOT to teach subject matter itself, but to teach students on how to teach THEMSELVES subject matter. At the end of the day, the student should be its own best teacher. If a student is obsessed with hockey, more gym class with a focus on hockey, if a student is obsessed with Math, more math classes, if a student is obsessed with performing arts, more drama or music classes, and so on.

My son's kindergarten teacher had a major issue with kids needing to go to the bathroom. If any of her students needed to go between bathroom breaks, she would make them hold it and told them they should have went during the last break. Found out later that practically every child in her class had on at least one occasion (in most cases 2 or 3 times) wet themselves because she wouldn't let them use the bathroom outside of scheduled bathroom breaks. Parents would then either bring them a change of clothes or just pick them up. Then they would have to sit in the office where everyone could see them in their wet pants. Thankfully last we heard she no longer teaches children and was in fact in jail.

When he said breakfast BEFORE SCHOOL I’ve never experienced this in my life.

I really hated writing as a punishment. Bart Simpson even does it. I was made to do it and I believe it did mess with my head.

It’s more for the repetition than for anything else . If you forget your gym clothes then by having to write it out X number times will help you to remember them since you were literally just saying that over and over again in your head not that long ago

I had a best friend in school (oh those many years ago!). He's still my best friend today!

I got in trouble in 3rd grade (early 1990s) for eating the core of an apple. My dad used to do it to be funny, so I asked the kids around me if they dared me to. They said yes, so I did. One kid did that "Oooo [I'm telling]" kind of thing and ran to tell the teacher. I was then fussed at by the teacher and told I could die and was made to go stand by the fence (that school's version of time out when spending time outside). Even in 3rd grade as I cried by the fence I thought, "So you're fine with me dying over here by the fence?!". My parents were livid and made sure the principal knew it.

Being held back is better than graduating without skills.

I can't say that I agree with you on the being on time for school issue. First, a lot of schools base their hours around parental work hours to give parents time to get to work after driving their children to school but also, at some point, kids have to realize that as adults, they aren't going to get a pass for being chronically late to work. Some workplaces are more lax about this than others but I don't know what to say on that one.

Okay, I graduated high school in 1964, so school was a long time ago. The most ridiculous rule I ever encountered was being forbidden to look ahead in our reading or music books, which I took as a challenge to do exactly that. At least I had encyclopedias to read at home after being bored out of my skull all day. And the bit about chewing gum existed in my day, too. I could understand the teachers' point of view if they had to stare at kids who chewed with their mouths open, but come on. And my the time I was in junior high I was sneaking candy in class.

I used to do Jolly Ranchers in class. But the gum thing was because we had stupid people who didn't know gum went wrapped in paper and thrown into the class. There is nothing grosser than having wads of gum under your chair or desk.

Most students get 30 minutes to go to the restroom before school, 5 minutes between eight 45 minute classes, 45 minutes at lunch to go then 5 minutes (or more) after school. How many brakes do they need?

Yes mu son was not allowed Pokemon nor Yugioh cards at school.

Some of these unfair rules are quite questionable, seriously? writing as punishment causes negative effects? In their earlier years they'll think of it as so but when they get to college or higher forms of learning THEY'LL thank that punishment. EVEN uniforms, it's easier to be wearing uniform and picking any clothes. PEOPLE WOULD HAVE TROUBLE PICKING CLOTHES cause in puberty WE WANT TO IMPRESS people ANOTHER THING! TARDINESS! seriously, our classes start at 6:30AM during Elementary school, guess what.. WE WAKE UP AT 5:00AM. we even cook our own breakfast BTW. THE ONLY THING THAT GETS ME MAD IS THE ISSUE ABOUT BEST FRIENDS. I ONLY HAD 4 FRIENDS in HS.

I only had one. In my freshman and Sophomore year I had none.

The attendance one is especially bad. The school district I live in, a kid is only allowed to miss so many days, period. Yet they tell you to keep your kid home if they're sick, and send them home when they have a fever. A friend of mine's daughter got expelled last year because she was in the hospital with pneumonia. Seriously.

No body piercing was one that almost got me kicked out, teachers deans and students tried to pick on me for it

#5 There were several desks that had layers of old gum under them and seats with whole chunks that stuck to our clothes. That was a nightmare! You can teach responsibility, you can't beat it into people.

In highschool class started at 7:20 I woke up at 5:45 giving me an hour before having to get ready. Which was just socks shoes shirt backpack teeth hair out the door.. of course I got a ride and was only a mile away so it was still half hour walk. Also my lunch was either 1130-1200 or 1200-1230 But now I have lunch at 1300. Also evening showers would help in the morning. And if you have to wash your hair and be done with it. Oh and in my highschool gum was okay just don't be loud or disruptive. Put In the carpet etc. And for me 5 minutes was plenty of time to get from one end of the school to the other Even enough time to go to the bathroom so locker shouldn't be a problem. Unless opposite direction. Which then first half lunch which I at within 5-10 minutes locker switch books. Passing time should be to get from point A to point B not chatting with your friends.

My high school was over a mile in circumference, with about 1/3 mile from the last classroom on the second floor of the annex to the trailer classrooms at the other end of campus. We had 7 minutes, but also about 2500 students, so it could take a while. I used to carry 2 backpacks. One for 1st and 2nd period, one for 3rd and 4th, because we had 15 minutes between 2nd and 3rd periods.

Absences need to be handled differently at certain schools. In some places I lived if a child was absent more than so many days they were reported to DHHS and the parents actually had to go to court to defend their children's absences which actually took time off away from parents in the workplace and could harm their reputation. Seriously, had to go to court. Some really upstanding parents with really upstanding kids I knew went through this because the student had a chronic illness, depression issues, or totally legitimate reasons for being out of school. It was insane.

With 24 I just wanted to say that I agree with the holding back part . I believe that it’s absolutely perfectly fine to hold a child back if they aren’t meeting the level that someone their age is suppose to. I my self should have been held back but for the dumb rule that no child gets left behind I seriously had a much harder time trying to grasp the information and material that was being provided with the next grade simply becuase I barely knew/grasped/understood the previous grade’s material let alone trying to learn something new that actually stemmed off of what was taught the previous year . So for a child who frankly doesn’t care enough to do the work that is provided ( like homework and studying which is what helps you to learn the information and material that will benefit you for years to come ) like they should and then they get the marks for no reason other than “no one wants to make the poor thing cry “ then come the next school year that same kid is going to get screwed over 10x as badly as the previous year and when they hit college then they will not last and will be kicked out for failing to meet the requirements. So you say that holding a child back is horrible and unnecessary well I tell you from personal experience it’s frankly the only thing that is actually going to work in their favor .

I beg your pardon. I was held back twice in my life. Because of undiagnosed autism disorder and I was having a hard time Hollywood not assigned me extra help so I was held back in school for 2 years the amount of bullying and just crap I dealt with it because of the stupid teacher not listening to understanding that I needed extra support I went through almost 10 years of just trauma and abuse. The other kids parents would not let them hang out with me because I was considered A retard and they thought it would rub off me to there kids. So no holding back is a cruel and actually a kind of sick way to pretend you're helping a kid out

I am Christian, and I used to work with a Jewish lady. She and I office together, and we would listen to music. I asked her if she would mind if we listened to Christmas music, and she said no, as long as I explain why we called it Christmas dinner, when we eat it in the middle of the day. That was kind of a fun compromise. I also got some Jewish Hanukkah drinks, braided bread etc. I said Jewish Hanukkah treats.

The worst rule at my high school was the zero tolerance policy. All violence was punished exactly the same, regardless of circumstances, so even if some asshole attacked you, you'd get the same suspension and ticket that he did if you hit him back ONCE. Not surprisingly, all that accomplished was to encourage bullies, who never cared about rules in the first place, and now knew that their victims would be more afraid to defend themselves.

A lot of people gain weight as they get older. You still look great, Mike. All that matters is how you feel about yourself, not how others think you should.

The idea of prohibiting by adults prohibiting kids to bag with other kids will only serve two things, to make adults look bad/ mean, and it will only serve to tighten the bonds of true friends.

Here in California, in Junior High, it was against the rules to wear a red or blue shirt since they were "gang related" colors. One of the many ridiculous rules. This was Cunha Junior High and was once rated as the worst school in America.

No, God save us. Try teaching when no one is listening or working or anything....why, they are on their phone. If a cell phone is more important than an education...then keep them home and let them play on their phone.

Although I agree the majority on this list are borderline ridiculous, none of them make me more...opinionated, than the act of grade-repeating. Holding a child back does NOT help them. Instead, it completely *DESTROYS* their self-esteem, their confidence and makes them statistically more likely to drop out of high school and to have other long-term effects. It can also have a negative impact on a child's social and emotional development. Grade-repeating is something I *STRONGLY* oppose. It's an outdated practice that shouldn't be used anymore. There are better ways to help a child struggling in school whether it be socially and or academically.

You might find this hard to believe, but most of these issues/rules have been around at least since the 1970s. I remember hearing most of these rules when I was 13 years old back in 1978.

Chewing gum usually means someone has to chew with their mouths open. Hearing that slipping cow chewing noise is too noisy and distracting. Our teachers used to make you put your gun on your nose for the duration of the class

I graduated high school in 1999. When I was in 7th through 9th grade, I played volleyball for my school and the coach was made to tell us that we couldn't wear popular name brands shorts/pants like umbro, Under Armor, & such bc some of the less fortunate players couldn't afford them & IF we had the name brands, we were required to cover the word &/or symbol on them. Smh We were all in shock, even the less fortunate players. Oh & I went to a public school too.

Dear Mike, first time I said Happy Holidays was my last. I was visiting a friend who is Jewish. His father explained he wants to be wished a Merry Christmas and he looks forward to withing me a Happy Hanukkah. He wants to know, with my belief, I want him to be blessed. The other way around, he wants me to understand he wishes me his best wishes, according to his beliefs.

I got lunch detention once for imitating a finger gun, when I protested the logic I was told I shouldn't break the rules, I was 10 and imitating star wars with a friend.

Never seen a cell-phone used the right way in class. In college, had a guy throw fit when he was asked to bring his cell-phone to the teachers desk because he was texting instead of listening to the lecture. He said no, quit the class and never came back. Real mature.

I was a preK teacher at a public school a few years ago. The principal decided to put one of my students (a five year old girl with FAS) into a 3 day, in-school detention, which was a room with no windows, there was no talking, they had worksheets to do all day and the only time they could leave the room was to use the restroom or get their meals, which they brought back to the room. I fought this guy as hard as I could, save kicking his ass. He ended up winning and he enjoyed gloating about it. I got fired about a week later due to "budget cuts". He ended up getting fired later on too. I was asked to come back but I found another job that paid much much more with less stress.

DVS_Dex this was not a rule at my school I got punished for fighting back even if I got the worst of it. I got knocked out one time and had to go to the office for fighting and if the other guy had not admitted to starting it I would have been in detention for a week.

Also cell phones were 100% VERBOTEN in school (well during class and at lunch and stuff) my Freshman and Sophomore years. Starting my junior year, they allowed people to have their phones out during lunch, between classes, and one math teacher allowed them as calculators during class but she personally verified that they were on airplane mode. PS: That math teacher didn't allow phones as calculators during tests, only during regular class time.

I was forced to shave in 8th grade. When I began high school I had a full beard. In 11th grade (1994) a teacher asked me in the halls between classes "When was I going to take the wild animal off my face?" I responded with "When your wife goes home". All the kids in ear shot began laughing. The baby faced teacher stopped bothering me about it.

I have a sister who is quite a bit younger than me. When the elementary school shootings started, her own elementary school decided that in order to defend themselves, each child needed to bring a can (soup, green beans, etc) to THROW AT A GUNMAN, should one enter. Tiny 60lb kids throwing soup cans. Oh yeah. That’ll stop a massacre. We live in rural Texas.

5 minute class changes in my high school sucked especially cause all the math classes were in a totally seperate building a little more than 100 yards away . imagine being in one class up stars on the farthest side of the main school from the math building. not to mention rainy days.
