25 Bizarre Toys That Nobody Should EVER Play With

Did you have a favorite toy growing up? We all probably did. Some of us loved playing with Barbie dolls while others may have enjoyed learning new yo-yo tricks. Toys helped strengthen our vivid imaginations and helped cure us of that dreaded monster, Boredom.
There was no better feeling as a kid then going to a toy store and looking at all the fun things available to play with. You may not have always been able to buy that toy, but there was something about just seeing it and imagining yourself as the proud owner.
For the most part, toys are fun and innocent enough for children. Yet there are some toymakers who may want to consider another career path. They have twisted the toy market into something, well, almost indescribable. You just might need to take a look for yourself. Here are 25 Bizarre Toys That Nobody Should EVER Play With.

They used to have the most dangerous toys back then. The click clack toy with the 5 lbs plastic balls that if you didn't know how bad it hurt figured it out but hey they were cheap. The cheap metal wheeled skates, and they were never oiled so they could get stuck and send you face first to kiss the curb. Organic chem kits that teens were making bathtub crank with. Betty Croker ovens no oven mitts. I do think that the times are turning this generation into a bunch of pussies! wearing helmets ok, brains are important! I see suburban snoty kids that have pads all over their body . Don't go play outside . Creative, using their right sides of their brains. When i was little none of us were allowed until the street lights came on. Now little faces, with minds that are starving to create, let loose are busy all entranced with cell phones. "No longer were the people ever look up at the sky. They're faces were too busy staring down staring at the machine "(1984 G. Orwell).

@@theresasayanara5565 lol remember those lawn darts? Hell you are so right, especially when you see parents out with their kids on leashes or what not. It is ridiculous times we are living in, I used to play with cap guns all the time as a kid and I was born in 1987. These days are boring for kids. Go break a bone, stub a toe, SOMETHING!

Really how can you know happiness, in it's most honest form. How can you say that you are content when you never known disconnect. Joe Blow and Skylar Lunch Meat need to get a realistic approach and throw the TVs off the condo rooftop. Unplug and learn how much pain and suffering there is beyond the suburban green lawns. Kids don't need to have so much info bombarding their developing minds. Throw the brats out of the house after homework and don't let them in till the street lights are dimmed!

I'm surprised you didn't mention lawn darts. I don't know who came up with that idea, but they had to be high. My cousins actually had the Midge doll. Not only that, it was passed down through 6 of my cousins and 3 of my nieces, and is still being passed down to this day. Lastly, if my father had known about the children's straight jacket, he would have ran out to the toy store and bought it immediately.

Hey - my friends and I had lawn darts, realistic looking cap guns, BB guns, pellet guns, and long metal sliding boards that got hot as blazes in the sun but were great if you first rubbed them down with wax paper to go faster. We had wooden-set in concrete jungle gyms and other things that could cause serious bodily injury....and I learned how to ride my bike in a dirt road. Seriously though, the baby having a baby??? That and Mindy are the worst. “I just want somebody to love me,” some pregnant teenaged girls whom I taught would say. I’d hold my tongue but always wanted to say “get a dog!”

I was undiagnosed autistic and Jab probably saved me from being painfully lonely sometimes! I had lots of baby dolls that I loved too, and lots of cuddly toys. I desperately wanted a pet but wasn’t allowed. We got stick insects and I loved them, but then they eventually died out after years... as soon as I moved out I got fish! These days I have two kids and two chinchillas. And my lovely husband but I suppose technically he isn’t an animal 😅 lol I also loved my Furby.

It calms people down. I would know. I was in the mental hospital and was put in one and it helped a lot. But I've seen people say it was a gag gift. The cage was common in the 50's and 60's, known as playpens they kept a child safe when they started to crawl in the non child friendly houses of the time, they could not crawl around the house getting into danger whilst Mum was in the tiny kitchen of the houses at that time, even Dad stayed out of the kitchen. Why have you ruined your videos with paid promotions?

That sounds like a "Baby Alive". There used to be ones back in the day that "cried real tears". Sadly, the metal works inside baby's head would rust from the water, and her "tears" would start coming out bloody...

When I was a kid, we had archery sets. Granted, the arrows weren't TERRIBLY sharp, but they did have pointed metal tips. And, yes, we shot each other with them! There was a neighborhood cat who had one eye, because of those.

My favorite toy was this rifle by Marx. It certainly would not be sold today. It had bullets made up of a plastic shell with a spring in it and the projectile would be placed in the plastic shell where the spring would be set. You had a clip you could fill with 5-6 bullets and place in the rifle and you could shoot the projectile, eject the shell on so on. The rifle was like 3/4 size so to a kid it felt full size. I used to build things out of blocks and spend the day destroying them with the rifle. I'm surprised I haven't become some kind of serial killer/sniper as a grown man. Maybe I got it out of my system in my youth.
