Coach Brian Klepacki shows you 25 ways to properly and safely utilize a PLYO or plyometric box. This box is a super awesome and simple piece of equipment that provides an athlete a ton of opportunity to improve athletic performance.
If you do some of these exercises consistently you will see improvement in your explosive power and most likely you will see and feel more "balance" in your body. Just be sure to do perform these moves for both sides and don't let your dominate side take over.
Sure most of this is for the legs but training with a plyo box is amazing for fat burning, strength endurance, core strength and stability and as stated above, explosive power.

Great vid, thx ... Question, when I squat I try to explode up each rep, would box jumps help more or explosive squats for higher vertical jumps?

Nice Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried - Schallingora Increase Capability Scheme (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome exclusive product for learning how to dunk like a total badass minus the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my mate at last got great results with it.

Dan depth jumps with light dumbbells work for me just remember to jump as high as possible on each rep

jamesyoungpark That box is a 20” x 24” x 30” construction. He’s doing the workout on the 20” side.

Two or three are really polymetrics moves, the rest are simple power, coordination and balance moves.

Yes, they can be done explosive however there is also tremendous benefit in doing them as demonstrated here in this video.

De nada sirve hacer ciertos ejercicios a lo loco,lo único que puedes provocar es daños en articulaciones muy feos. Lo mejor es hacerlo con conciencia, despacio y bien ejecutados. No payasear para querer lucirse o quedar como el Superman del fitness. Nada que ver!
