Suzuki Fiero can now be called as a legend, a very powerful bike with 147.5cc 4-stroke engine mated with 4-speed gears. The 5th gear was always been missed on long stretches. The relatively small sized bike as compared to the other 150cc segment bikes, the Fiero was a rocket.
Fiero is one of the underrated bikes ever launched in India. It was launched in 2000 featuring a powerful 147.5cc, single cylinder, 4-stroke engine mated with a 5-speed gearbox. Fiero was one of the first 150cc motorcycles available in the beginning of 20th century. The mill delivers a maximum power of 12 Bhp @ 7500 rpm and peak torque of 10.5 Nm @ 6500 rpm. The motorcycle had a top speed of 115kmph to become the fastest Suzuki in the country. Unlike other 150cc bikes, it was comparatively smaller in size. The bike weighs only 115 kg and it goes like a rocket with its massive power.
The braking duties of the Fiero are managed by 130 mm drum brakes at both the ends. The suspension system consists of a telescopic fork at the front and double sided swingarm with a 5-way adjustable shock absorber at the rear

Bro... appreciate your affection to this fiero model of Suzuki....the best machine ever by Suzuki in India. I wasn't that lucky to have one but i got TVS fiero F2 in 2004. @weekendonwheels - I too own suzuki fiero (2001 model) and it requires restoration / few parts replacement. Are you aware of any restoration centers for Suzuki Fiero in Chennai or any other city in Tamil Nadu or Kerala or in Bangalore?

Wonderful work. That would've taken a lot of effort to bring back to stock. Did you say the bike has done 5.8lakh kms!!! 😮 Also if you could share the cost break up for paint chrome and engine it would be helpful. Also where you sourced the spares from
