23 Things to Know Before Starting at BYU

here are the must-know tips for freshmen starting at BYU!
Hey everyone! In this week's video I go over my best tips for freshmen at BYU (Brigham Young University)! I graduated from BYU in 2020 and wanted to share some tips on how to make friends, dating, the campus, classes, how to take care of yourself as a college freshman and more!
PS - I recorded this video last year and didn't get around to uploading it in time, so that's why my hair is different and I'm not 9 months pregnant in this video like I am currently haha
Are you starting at BYU this year? If so, what will you be majoring in? If you are an upperclassman or alumni, what's some advice you would give to an incoming freshman?
Thank you SO much for watching! Feel free to leave me any video suggestions you have in the comments below & if you enjoyed this tip video, please let me know and I would love to make more of them in the future for you! 💕 Be sure to subscribe to my channel if you haven't yet! I make videos every single week!
I love each and every one of you SO much! Thank you so much for your love and support! I can't wait to chat with you in the comments!

I’m applying to BYU this Fall and while it’s one of my best options, I’ve never lived in Utah so I’m hesitant about the culture. Being from the south, I’ve never lived anywhere where there are a lot of members.

Skip college. Become a truck driver. The country needs it and it's an easy 100k annual salary.

That's practical, but also education is very important, not just for a job but to develop your mind

@@myleemontag1690 I listen to a lot of podcasts, online classes, and KZread videos from colleges that offer free classes. After talking to countless university students, I'm not convinced they're gaining any more education than I am.

Trucks smell horrible inside and outside. Also, trucks contribute to pollution and make the entire vicinity smell horrible. It's not even an easy job either. Driving is super stressful even with smaller vehicles, and being constantly on the move is bad for family life. Maybe if you give me enough money for the rest of my life, I could consider doing it for a week or even a month, but any longer than that sounds like torture. Not everyone thinks money is worth driving a truck for.
