    Why is nobody ever talking about/reviewing the nitro magnum?

  • @PeterGlennSports

    @PeterGlennSports

    Ай бұрын

    @@wesleymaduro5592 the Magnum is definitely a rad board but it is for big dudes with big feet. Since it’s for a very specific rider that’s probably why you don’t see a lot of reviews. Think of it as the big brother to the SMP. Comparably since there is much more length and width they do an upgraded core and sidecut to make it lighter and easier to turn. Thank you for the great content. Currently riding an outerspace living. Thinking of warpig as a second board. I’m fairly new to the sport. About 3 seasons in. Any thoughts? And thank you for the great content

    Warping is a super fun board! Just don’t forget the volume shift and to downsize 6-10cm

    @peterglenn Which way would you go for all mtn, resort, quiver of one, no park, small kickers. Been on NS for years; Protosynthesis, Ultra, or a Capita Mercury?

  • @PeterGlennSports

    You honestly can’t go wrong with any of those. For the riding you’re talking about I’d probably go more towards the Ultra or the Mercury though.

    This was my first season here in so cal. Got a nice 18 days on the mountain before fracturing my ribs last week on a box lol. Can’t wait for next season but I was thinking of grabbing a new board. Coming from a capita pathfinder. Do you think the arbor element would be good in the camber version for a few seasons?

  • @PeterGlennSports

    @PeterGlennSports

    4 ай бұрын

    For sure, the Pathfinder is definitely a much softer easier riding board all around for those first timers or even park focused riders. The Element would be a great next step to help you start riding faster and getting into more variable conditions! Little bit stiffer and more stability all around! 👍 ARBOR ELEMENT-> www.peterglenn.com/search/apachesolr_search/arbor%20element?

    What’s better for powder and all-mountain daily driver? Orca or War Pig?

  • @PeterGlennSports

    @PeterGlennSports

    8 ай бұрын

    Oh man, put all 3 up on a dart board and take a throw. I'd say the first question to ask yourself is if you want a volume shift board or not. If not the Daily Driver is your whip. If you do want the shorter option then go with the Orca if you want a little more quicker, aggressive feel or the Warpig if you want a little easier, smoother feel. Really can't go wrong with any of the 3 to be honest.

    I’m trying to decide what snowboard I should get, I’m an intermediate rider that does it all. I don’t go into the park very often but still enjoy hitting the side hits and jumps. I’m 6’2 185 and was looking at the Capita Mercury. What would you recommend?

  • @PeterGlennSports

    @PeterGlennSports

    If you are more of and intermediate/advanced rider the Mercury would be a great option. If not you might want something a little more rider friendly that will help push you to get better. A board like the Arbor Element is a great example. Size wise I'd stay in the 160-164 range just for your height. Being taller you have a higher center of gravity and more leverage over a board than someone shorter but at your same weight. What would be your top few recommendations for an intermediate rider that spends almost all his time on groomers, an needs a wide option (size 13 boot)?

  • @PeterGlennSports

    There are so many good options to be honest. Check out this link to some of our favorites. The only one I might stay away from is the Capita Outerspace Living. Awesome board but a little more geared towards park www.peterglenn.com/category/snowboard/snowboards?filters=feature_text_31:Wide+feature_text_83:Intermediate

    @PeterGlennSports what are the features of the rome agent that give you a clue that it's more park oriented? What features should I be looking for a resort/groomer intermediate board? Trying to learn- there are so many choices out there!

    @@stephenkileen1973 the twin tip shape, the double kick tips and just Romes general description of the board. For your style of riding I would look at something a little more towards the directional or directionsl twin side. A board that will excel in one direction but still be versatile enough to ride switch on and explore the whole mountain. Check the link I sent in the first response above for some great examples.
