This #220 class is really incredible, for so many reasons- the power these guys have to exert and expound, in the same amount of time as the lighter classes, really shows what their stamina is, it's incredible!

I get that the long hair looks good and all but wouldn’t it be more productive to cut it off so the other wrestlers don’t have anything to use for leverage? Just doesn’t make sense to me.

Hi Chris: Pulling hair is defined in the rules as Unnecessary Roughness, and would result in a match stoppage and a penalty point awarded to the opponent.

It takes several years of hair growth to get from a buzzcut to a mane. Cutting it all of is equal to the instant destruction of years of progress. Furthermore, it is an unfortunate fact that most men only have their teens and 20s to enjoy their long & full hair. Once it starts to go, they can never ever grow it out again without looking like a creep. Just like the ancient Greeks knew that it is a shame for a man to never have known his body in its physical prime at least once during early adulthood, so it is a shame for any man to never ever have seen his hair in all its majestic glory.
