  Wow, that was intense. Shout out to the camera work too. You can see how much hustle it takes to keep tracking the action. Just like the stamina of the wrestlers, it has to be immense physical and mental effort to keep all that action in frame as the athletes are leaping about. And all from *_one person_* . You don't even get that dynamic framing when theres a whole video crew working with several cameras. Most wrestling coverage is just one or two mounted cameras lazily zoomed out so the tracking is simpler, and its so distant you cant see the actual grappling at all and have to infer what happened after the fact. What wrestlers do with their hands is such a major part and without good tracking and framing its mostly just a guess. Here you can actually see what the hands are doing. Thats *_why_* people call it grappling.

  I don't like red's antics and showing off. I think she can do better if she knocks that off. I understand confidence and all that, but this should be inside of the athlete. Both can become good wrestlers.

  When I wrestled in junior high, we didn't wear shoes we were bare foot. I understand traction but aren't they a problem for injury?

  they should wear the skull caps so their hair isnt being pulled as well, i wrestled with long hair and wore a skull cap to keep dudes from grabbing my hair

  Out of 26 teams, Mukwonago took first place in their bracket, and 4th place overall. In these videos they just happened to be facing the team that went on to win the championship at this tournament. Many of the duals happen concurrently on separate mats, and so I just happened to be on a different mat when they faced other teams that they beat.

  Blue’s coach needs to teach her to try takedowns without getting her head trapped between her opponents legs. Lots of techniques to exit the legs. Once the head is out, a successful takedown is possible.
