2025 Infiniti QX80 a BETTER full size luxury SUV than a Nissan Armada?

Infiniti is introducing a completely new generation of its flagship SUV, the big QX80, featuring a fresh design inspired by the QX Monograph concept vehicle. The new QX80 boasts a commanding presence, characterized by its upright front end, large grille, and substantial wheels. Exterior lighting elements add flair, with slim daytime running lights sporting a distinctive block pattern at the front, and a full-width light bar connecting the taillights across the liftgate. Under the hood, there's a 450-horsepower twin-turbo V-6 engine replacing last year's naturally aspirated V-8.
Inside the deluxe cabin, passengers can enjoy three rows of seats, with massage functionality available for both the first and second rows. The interior can also be equipped with a system utilizing an infrared sensor in the headliner to detect if rear-seat passengers are too warm, automatically directing cool air from the climate control system towards them. Additionally, there's an option for a 24-speaker stereo system tuned by high-end audio maker Klipsch.
While the new QX80 boasts luxury and competitive features to rival other big SUVs, it comes with a higher Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP), reducing its price advantage over models like the Cadillac Escalade and the Mercedes-Benz GLS-class.
