This latest French Army ration packs 3600 calories, but isn't as sumptuous as I expected it to be. The flavours were all a bit on the strange side but quite edible. I should have mixed the Goats Cheese in with the Chili Con Carne, but it tasted strange enough without it. I suspect the pack had been left exposed to high temperatures due to the slight blooming to the chocolate bar, and maybe this is why the whole thing tasted a bit weird.
