I agree. Not sure if it's that awesome green, but to my eyes, the front end looks better and more aggressive than the blackwing's.

A 2025 CT5-V Blackwing in that Typhoon Color is now on my wishlist. If I could get one of those and have it modded to about 800-900 whp would be the perfect ride!!

Same!! I’d order in typhoon and wrap it with stealth PPF 🔥 I’ve driven a 700ish whp CT5V Blackwing and it was epic.

I’m so happy they are making it for 2025

The new infotainment is what has me most excited. Everything else about this car was already awesome

The biggest thing I like about the refresh is the interior. That screen is much more up to date

The normal V now gets the BW seats! That’s awesome. Will be ordering when the books open up!

The 2024 V blackwing looks better, just more aggressive than the refresh

The 2019 cts v is the most aggressive in my opinion the seem to keep going in a downward direction but dont get me wrong they look great id just probably just buy a older V.

@@SKIDOOS I agree %1000. I feel like the 19 CTS-V was the best looking. 2022-2024 blackwing was nice, but it needed more to distinguish itself from the V series, such as a hood vent or hood bulge.

@@Jojo-mp4ecit needing a hood bulge and you wanting it to have a hood bulge are two entirely different things. This vehicle looks menacing as hell as is from the front, but it’s way more sophisticated than something needing to breathe out of the top of its nose, its mouth and ears. It’s a _Cadillac._ It will do everything it needs to do (including breathe in air) with class! That’s what makes the CT5 a Cadillac instead of a Chevy. I love the CTS-V’s design too, but this is definitely the rich big brother😎

@@jackd232you’re not considering any increase in costs the manufacturer has experienced since 2022. Inflation is a real thing too. You also aren’t considering upgrades and the costs to implement them.

What are u talking about? BMW has been making great engines and way better performance cars then audi,merc, caddy, lexus u name it. The m3 and m4 xdrive are faster then some super cars. The fact this new gen refresh has the same exact panoramic screen bmw has shows they are trying to copy bmw😂 still a great car but id get a M3 or m4 over it anyday. Or a Lexus lc500. Then blackwing

I am two days out from buying a 2024 CT5 V Black Wing that they had me put 40K down on because they told me that it was the FINAL V8 that Cadillac would ever make.. and I run across this F'n video!!! Thank God... Now I can get my money back, Cadillac better do something about their dealers because I would've raised hell!!!

The 2025 looking crazy

Quite simply this car is a compilation. The front is definitely more Ct4V based. The interior is more of a Escalade look now. It’s all in one. I prefer the 23 though personally

Always thought the exterior was on point but interior was lacking I’m really happy they made the interior look similar to what’s in the escalade. Imagine that front blue vertical section of the grille blacked out ooooffff

Gorgeous car. Tremendous power, great driving dynamics and a beautiful manual transmission. Seriously considered buying one, but couldn’t stomach the short range, the insane insurance premium, the gas guzzler tax and the dealer markups.

manual transmission, RWD, and a LT4 was enough to convince me, add in the new technology and goodies this is my dream car 😭

Can't wait for the refresh 2025 ct4 v blackwing. That's the one I will order.

As far as we know there is no refresh planned. Zero prototypes have been seen testing. It is rumored the CT4 may be chopping block for 2026. I am praying we get a surprise refresh for 2025 as well. The CT4 is now the weakest product on offer from caddy.

A lot of people feel they should have upped the power, but I believe the power is just right. Being a hellcat owner, there is a such thing as TOO MUCH power. It gets to a point that the power is unusable and it leads to wasted power and EPIC burn outs. These power and torque numbers seem just right for this car and its size. Great job GM; they've given us a 4 door Z06.

They did. It's pretty much like this same infotainment and the front is slightly changed like this one.

Great video. Did they mention if the CT4VBW will still be getting a refresh? Sales numbers have been underwhelming despite it being a phenomenal car (I love mine and it’s a beast on track)

I wish they have added the cts-v style hood for the update it looks nice and interior is where it really shines but not as aggressive coming from a current owner of 2019 cts-v

Hated these when they came out they definitely have grown on me. I like how are they are a bit rare and with the LT4 damnnmn perfect

Great job Cadillac-Please keep these going because at somepoint there will be a rush for them as other makers fizzle out on V8 crazy performance-tho i believe this electric crap will die off and hybrids will be more in demand for AWD-which would be cool for these if you could turn off or on a 160hp front wheels electric motor when needed. My only complaint is there’s not a more aggressive hood option for the Blackwing. If it had something even just a little scoop with a little black on it would be awesome or just some aggressive lines-just anything.

Wish they made the ct5v blackwing with the dive plane canards like in the 6t4v blackwing. Also wish they had the potential for awd with that power. Mainly so it's driveable in all weather conditions.

Cadillac would be smart to not throw away years of v-8/ICE tech and offer both, gas and EV moving forward. I believe the market for ICE -and manual- will not fade, but even grow as long the Gov. stays out of the dictator role.

The decision to go all electric is a political decision,probably being pushed by Black Rock, just like Budweiser went full transgender and it backfired big time,they scrambled to start making traditional red blooded American ads again.these fools are doing the same thing,give people a choice not shove it down our throats!

I have the 2020 CT5-V AWD in evergreen, it's darker than the new green, both looks great, I love the new interior but the new front is kinda odd to my eyes, will have to go to the dealer and check on the actual car. I noticed that except the obvious changes, the main differences with the V model is the optional GT2 seats, 2020 to 2024 model year they didn't offer that option on 3.0TT. don't know how much the price gonna bump up with the super cruise models, may get one.....

So performance seats available on the regular 5-V? That’s awesome!

Finally got the job done and upgraded the Infotainment right.

The new Escalade V in Red for hauling (ass) and the gorgeous track car CT5-V Blackwing Manual in Drift Metallic combo is my ultimate goal, do not need anything more because these two are top notch car enthusiast vehicles for me at the end of the day.💖

Wish I could afford the blackwing. The V might be the way to go. I just really wish it was a bit faster for having a “V” badge

I personally prefer the aesthetics of the CTS-V compared to this design on the CT5 models. The look of the CTS just looks more Cadillac, traditional that art & science theme compared to the softer lines of the new version here. Like the M5 models still holding true to that iconic sedan stance & design philosophy but still looking modern. The power plant is truly its most desirable feature point blank!

Cool American mid-size luxury sedan here. Why not compare that to the Germans such as the 5 Series, E-Class, and A6? Also, that Cadillac does fit its style in this decade.

That’s why you see the recaro seats in the V. They were previously optional upgrades that were only available in the Blackwing.

Eddie, I'm waiting for the order books to open up. Question, does the new traffic sign recognition mean that the vehicle will automatically adjust to the posted speed like my F150 does when in adaptive cruise control, or Blue Cruise? So far there's no info on when the car will be available to order. Love what they've done with the refresh, but in ky opinion, whether it needed it or not, a hood scoop was a big miss on this vehicle.

Anyone else notice we've had the "final editions" and "last of the V8's" for several years now?

No, last year it was the end of manual transmissions. That's what I remember this year is the end of the engine. lol Next year you will be able to buy a brand new manual v8 i 100% gurantee!

They ruined the front but improved the interior... yikes when it's not broken, don't fix it. Maybe once someone jailbreaks the turn signals to be always on it will look a little more aggressive

Is ct 4v blackwing discontinued for 25?

Wish they made a coupe version.

2025 ct5 headlights look like the ct4 headlights now since they don't have the split like the third gen cts's

Wish Super cruise would be available on the 6 speed.

My 2024 BW is scheduled to start the build Feb 12. I guess I will put it up for sale to acquire a 2025. The 2024 color choices are not very good. I like the CT5 BW color in this video. I thought the 24 was the last year for the BW....

Is the ct4v blackwing getting the refresh as well?
