    my whole problem with the Nike thing is Caitlin deserves this shoe deal but it’s honestly so frustrating that A’ja continues to not have one.

    Crazy how they don’t give Angel Reese any credit for growing the game, and bringing in the new viewers.

    You’re right. She has also done her part. The rivalry the media created between her and Clark really started things.

    HVL goes down... and I love HVL, but she didn't put in the work like Raven Johnson. She allowed Clark to get in her head, and Flau'jae's comment about her not looking her opponent in the eye made her leave for a program with no backbone. Choosing LSU to boost her point guard stats instead of trying South Carolina is questionable. But I hope everything works out for HVL

    I heard that Clarks contract incentives are upwards of $500,000... I agree she isn't worried about the pay on the WNBA. That said... those players that aren't well known have a reason to be a bit underwhelmed.

    No details are given on how you get eligible for the half million incentive.

    Might want to check out the coach at TCU, Mark Andrews, PaoPao was considering TCU but then Dawn called and it was over. Look for him getting a big job at a storied wbb school in the future. ✌️

    In college the best players often try transfer to a top team to optimize their NIL-money. I wonder if the same thing will happen in the WNBA.

    After the draft, a couple of the other channels I follow were saying Chicago messed up and drafting Reese and Cardoso was a bad idea. I was like WTF?!! Chicago is going to be a problem especially as they build more.

    I think they are a great foundation for a rebuild. Two solid bigs. Chicago wasn’t going to fix their team in one draft. Bringing Reese to Chicago also brings a lot of media attention. Her jersey already sold out!

    If Reese works on her shooting it can be a good pick

    I think what I heard makes sense... they drafted 2 players with the same skillset and the girl from Tennessee would have been a better counter to Cardoso.

    @@dougphelps6917 I definitely agree that Rickea is more pro ready than Angel. But at the draft, there's no way they are passing on Cardoso, and she definitely wouldn't have been available at 7. A Rickea/ Angel combo wouldn't have been nearly as impactful as Angel/ Cardoso. I also think TSpoon is a better development coach than Mulkey, so Angel is likely to surprise some people.

    In answer to your question about the expansion draft the last wnba expansion draft teams were able to protect 6 players so i would expect it to remain the same

    Do you think three rounds of the draft are unnecessary? Historically, how many third-rounders make the rosters?

    10.6 Billion revenue vs 200 million revenue 🤔🤔🤔NBA vs WNBA💰

  • @TheBrookesBench

    @TheBrookesBench

    We aren’t saying they make the same amount of revenue. They are fighting for the same percentage share of the revenue. They understand that they don’t bring in the same amount of money. That’s not the argument.

  • @TorleifGundersen

    but the wnba is subsidized by the nba, the wnba dont even make a profit. Not saying they cant get paid more and the revenue will cerntaintly rise next season, but its a really bad argument

  • @anotherelvis

    @anotherelvis

    Hmm.. but I guess that teams have to spend certain percentage of the revenue on fixed expenses such as medical staff, coaches, travel and renting a stadium. If they want to give half of he revenue to the players, then they have to decide where to cut. That can be a tough choice. (But hopefully the new media deals will fix this)
