I used the Navigation in my 2023 which put me about 2 miles from my destination and put me at a Mobile Home Sales lot, then I switched to Apple Maps which led me to the same location. I then switched to Google maps and arrived at the government building I was looking for. The current GM Navigation stinks so, I am happy that GM now is using Google Maps for its navigation in 2024. I wish they had started using Google Maps for navigation in the 2023 model year vehicles. Thanks for sharing this review with us JB.

Just got a gorgeous 2024 LTZ 6.2, love it so much

Nice to see them side by side. I’m still not totally sold on the new LED headlights. I think I like the old ones better. The interior appearance is definitely nicer on the new truck. My one gripe is they took away the 12 volt outlets for some reason. Both are nice. I love that your gas truck has the 10 speed. That is going to be a game changer for certain.

That 23 is my exact truck cept for diesel motor.....did get really good deal as well....black looks so good but pain to keep clean......idk how you built a gas version to 86k....I have HC deluxe and it's MSRP is just shy of 74k....wish I had second battery and alternators but oh well.....love my truck! Like the 23 front end better

I originally ordered a 23 and was glad when it got converted to a 24 and I was able to change it to a midnight edition. I only wish I had it right now. JB, would you take a 24 High Country Duramax over a 23 Ram Limited Cummins?

I think it’s a cheap of GM to put incandescent front turn signals on the High Country trim level. Heck the 2018 LTZ Silverado 1500 had LED front turn signals. Also the fog lights on the 2024’s look almost identical to the 2016-2018 fog lights on the LT and LTZ trim levels.

2024 front end is much better. They finally got rid of the ridiculous triple decker, squinty looking grill. The new interior is🔥That midnight package is calling my name! 🇺🇸💪

Really bumed about my 2021 Chevy High Country 3500hd DRW, there is a problem with these GM trucks. The steering gear box goes bad quick! I bought mine 1 yo with 12k miles, thought the steering was a little light/sloppy but read GM HD trucks just had light non confidence inspiring steering. Unfortunately, after several cross country trips I now have 43k miles and no more warranty. I took my truck in for a steering stabilizer install and found out there was play in the steering gearbox, and it needs to be replaced. $2200 for new gearbox and alignment!! The gearboxes are on extreem backorder, tells you its a big GM problem. I'd tell everyone with GM 2500/3500 to get their steering gearbox checked before 36k miles for sure!!

What I dislike is not the truck itself, be it a 23 or 24. I do not like that most Chev and GM trucks --seems to be the majority of them come only in black or white colors. I mean whatever happened to that beautiful inviting Chevrolet blue, and GM colors such as bronze. I am offended when I see any truck with all black paint because it makes me think of funerals. I am even more disappointed that so many guys think that an all black pick up truck is cool. I feel that the only reason for so many trucks being painted a boring white and an offensive black is all because of these 'meany' yuppy accountants who advocate these colors because it is cheaper. I once attended business school--I should know.
