    Wow. What a crazy first lap. And, they are both - hopefully - in next week's Diamond League race. Now, that event should be very, very special.

    She doesn't race bc her coach is Bobby Kersee. Same as McLaughlin who also plays the same stupid aloof games. Kersee athletes only race a handful of times. One tune-up. Then nationals. Then Worlds. In an Olympic year, Trials & Olympics. But that's it. Someone like Bol otoh races EVERYTHING and races OFTEN. It's so refreshing when athletes give back to fans by racing often instead of constantly ducking.

    Wow!! Is it me or has this meet had some weird performances in the Women's events. Like the top American athletes are intentionally NOT even trying to compete... Don't know if it's embarrassing or fraud. Sponsors, fans and the media deserve better. If athletes don't want to show out then don't show up!!

  • @Meechooilka

    @Meechooilka

    14 күн бұрын

    American athletes have very difficult trials, for which they prepare and peak. There is no need to peak for this. Michael Norman himself said they are still under heavy training loads. On top of that sponsours often require their athletes to show up and run. This, pretty much, is not the athlete's choice as they get paid to show up. Hence sub-par performances.
