I started playing golf 25 years ago or so. I'm not great at it as I have mY whole thorasic spine fused from severe scoliosis when I was a kid. It was done when I was 12 years old. Even with my back issues I still managed to shoot around 95 on average with 2 really good rounds in the high 80's and an 85 on one Sunday when I was just ON, for me. I knew I would never get much better but playing golf was therapeutic for me in that as messed up as my back is, swinging golf clubs keeps my back loose and from getting to stiff . It is also a big stress reliever for me. I love the game I haven't played in a year or so due to my lower back L 1,2,and,3 needing to be fused because the only place my back was flexible was in the lumbar area of my spine. So many years of mechanic work wore my lumbar spine out. I am having 2 surgeries to fuse from s1 to L3. After healing up I will continue to play as long as possible even if I can't do better than 110 or 120. I love it that much. I am a big Mickelson and Tiger fan as well as some others. Phil and Tiger have fallen off and I loved watching each of them have a come back for one final win not long ago. I didn't know any of the younger players and so golf for me seemed like my love of the game was slipping. I wasn't finding it as exciting as it had been. It has taken a few years for me to get excited about it again with my own troubles of not being able to play and now that my 2 favorites and some of the others I am fond of not playing so well. I had been looking for someone new to root for and trying to get back my excitement for the game. I began to like Jordan Spieth and Rory and a couple of others but had not made a connection as a hard core fan like I am with Phil and Tiger. Until I started watching some of Bryson's You Tube videos. His break 50 series is so much fun to watch. It has given the public a good idea of who Bryson is and his love and excitement for the game. So I have watched, finding myself rooting for him in his last few tournaments. I have become a strong fan for Bryson as in some way he has brought my love of the game back to me. If there was ever a competition I would love to see it would be between Rory and Bryson as Rory is my second favorite. and if Bryson didn't win I wanted Rory to win. So i got my wish yesterday. It was beautiful how Rory rose to the challenge and wouldnt let up. Bryson did also it was a battle, hard fought by both contenders. I thought Bryson had blown it when that put lipped out and then the same thing happened to Rory I believe on 17. It was nail biting edge of your seat golf at its best. Which wasn't something I had seen in awhile. I want to thank Both Rory and Bryson for playing thier hearts out and leaving nothing on the table. I found for the first time in such a long time that my excitement for the game has come back in full force. Something I am so thankful for. Thank both of you for playing how you did and making it as exciting if not more as it used to be. Sincerely, JOEL G.

Brandel Chamblee is a disgrace, but otherwise was a fantastic US Open with outstanding coverage by NBC. Best tournament of the year! Thanks for uploading.

Congrats to Bryson. He pulled off some spectacular shots on the last hole to beat Rory by one shot. Of course Rory feels really bad for missing the small putt on the last hole. Things happen. Interesting turn of events the last several holes of the tournament for both players. Thanks for the video.

I was going to feel bad for whomever lost as those two battled it out that entire back nine on a ridiculously difficult track. Fantastic US Open this year and the USGA got the setup just right IMO.

It was the 18th hole on a Sunday at the U.S. Open, there's the triumph right there, holding it together when it's crunch time, do or die. Feel horrible for Rory and others that have come so close in the Majors. Golf's one of the most psychologically brutal sports. It reminds me of the old CBS Wide World of Sports intro..." The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat."
