Just based on this final round, DJ should have won by 3 shots. He missed at least 5 putts inside 5 feet and several others inside 10 feet. DJ’s perfect 2nd at 18 was the only one that didn’t roll down the hill and stopped at the top.
Wyndham is toast; and he knows it. You ain't turning your game around this week.
It’s really nice not hearing big dumb idiots yell mash potatoes, get in the hole, bababooey, or yabbadaboo on every shot. For the love of god, Can the PGA and USGA please ban these stupid smooth brain simple Jack asses. Augusta has it figured out why can’t the rest of the tournaments also implement this? Are people just dumber today?

Looks a little to sanitized for me. If I'm going to look at historical stuff from golf I'd want to do that in a cozy setting. Much like the settings that I watched golf from for more than 50 years.
Agreed. Hopefully it gets some more character with time.
There is a story that back in 1992 Payne Stewart was at Pebble Beach as the defending champion of the U.S. Open. So, naturally he had the trophy with him. Some high roller didn't believe who Payne was, so Payne bet the guy that if he (Payne) could produce the real trophy the guy would have to fill it with Krystal. Being the fun-loving guy he was, Stewart produced the trophy and watched while they opened each very expensive bottle of champagne until the trophy was full to the top.
Any chance of doing a flyover of Newport CC ahead of the Senior Open?
Very cool! Would like this more as a U.S. Open setup with fairways about half as wide as what they are. Didn't the USGA learn anything from Los Angeles last year? Double digits under par is just not acceptable for the U.S. Open. Likely the Memorial Tournament last weekend will play tougher than this one. Another case of the U.S. Open organizers having lost their way and their identity. Whatever happened to "The toughest test in golf"? The U.S. Open has lost its identity. Even as Tiger Woods said only a few years ago too, alluding to this VERY same thing, "Whatever happened to make the fairways really narrow and grow the rough up, and let the boys have at it"?
Apart from Kaymer the scores were very US Open like in 2014 on this course. Second was -1. Scoring average 73 +3. Even Kaymer was +1 for the final 2 rounds. He just played crazy good in the first 2 rounds. Fairways might be wide but the greens are a nightmare.
Personally I don't really care whether the player is + or - a bunch of arbitrary numbers written on a card, but I would give you heavy odds that the winning score this year is higher than 270 (which is what won the US Open last year).
Beautiful golf course. Scenic!
Great guy
Thank you for ending the grain myth
There isn't much grain in that champion dwarf Bermuda at Pinehurst. Their mowers "lift and cut," too, like a good electric razor.
This is great! I love the part when he says Watson has yet to win a tournament at 24 lol! So cool!

Scotty is total class act! One of the greatest champions ever!!
I have a feeling…his body still has good memory…proven here haha
If he’s playing, he’s probably winning.
Defending champ hoping to use the us open as a tune-up for the rest of the season, tough scene
United States Golf Association (USGA), This is great! I liked it and subscribed!
I was in the crowd when this happened. Everybody had been waiting in those stands since early in the morning, all hoping we would see an unforgettable Tiger moment. I'll never forget watching the ball roll around the lip of the hole, it felt like an eternity passed in just a moment. The celebration in the stands was wild - we all felt like we had just won the U.S. Open haha. Never thought I'd see something like that in my life and I doubt I will again!
United States Golf Association (USGA), nice video keep up the amazing work
Great, very informative interview. I enjoy players like Clark, that give thorough, thoughtful answers to questions. Media asked good questions which generally is not the case
