    Stop blaming Toyota for getting rid of the V8. Blame the government. Toyota is just following the governments wishes with emissions

    Nice to see a review from an actual guy that works on these vehicles. Judging from the value retention of Toyota trucks and considering the Land Cruiser odds on a whole other level of refinement I think it’s worth the money if you go for the mid trim model. Fifty years from now, considering inflation you’ll probably still get $50,000 for the vehicle if you keep it in good shape. Good review!

    Thank you! First shot underneath I have seen of the optional skids that come on the First Edition. Meteor Shower is growing on me, looks like it would stay looking clean.

    I wonder how the skid plate would have held up with the Throttle House breakthrough/jump: kzread.info/dash/bejne/hHiXsbGodNTJpNI.htmlsi=tnzVRavSzDztpnnt It appears to me that the crushed thin junk skid plate that the non-First Edition ships with was crushed from the breakthrough of the sand, not the landing. I wonder how much, if any, damage it did to the radiator versus radiator fluid just coming out. I was in an accident once and thought it broke/damaged the radiator as fluid was running out like here, but turned out to be no damage, just fluid pushed out from the impact (the bumper and grill were crushed).

    Great review. The best yet on this vehicle. Thank you. $99,796 for this model in England with the diesel 2.8l and 7 seats. The days of bigger engines are over until they crack hydrogen and get the infrastructure in place. Sooner the better, electric vehicles aren’t the whole answer just a small part of it.

    video very well done, my favorite part about it is that it's made in Japan. 50k msrp would be more reasonable .

    Great review. It’s great truck but I don’t see where the $76k value is ? Seems like a 2 row 4 cylinder 4Runner to me. It’s not Super duper capable nor is it super luxury either. Seems like it should be 50 fully loaded. It’s the Land Cruiser name

    Finally a good technical LC review! Do you happen to know whether LC has the same front/central/rear diffs as GX 550? The same transfer case?

  • @TheYotaChannel

    @TheYotaChannel

    Ай бұрын

    Im not sure about the front and rear diff. The transfer case for GX550, according to the repair manual, is the JF2BM. 2024 Land cruiser transfer case (VF4CM)

    Very well done review. I ordered a black 1958 model. I just prefer the simple stuff. And for 10% more articulation in only the front…. I’m good. Also, I’ve come around on the motors turning to 4 cylinders. The torque electric adds is in diesel territory.

    Exactly, most people under estimate the hybrid technology in these modern vehicles. There is no need for a big v8 when you can get the same power output, if not more.

    Went to 2 dealers and they asking $98000 and $101000. Car looks awesome from outside. Inside is another story. Feels smal and not practical for camping . Gone be intressting what people really think when they own one. As much i want to like the car i really have to think hard about it if this is really what i want😢

    How dare you talk about the FJ in that regard....My FJ is the best vehicle I have owned and I also own a 2024 Tundra TRD Sport but the FJ makes me feel like I can conquer the world......We will see if this Land Cruiser last as long (trouble free) as my FJ. JP
