My 21 year old son bought this car. He put down $5K and his payment is under $400 per month. He’s a college student and he’ll have this car until he’s mid 30’s if he wants.

I have a 21 Corolla with 50k miles on it and it’s my daily drive . I love it . Perfect car for your son . I got rear ended this year around May and it was a hard hit but I was not hurt at all and the damage to the trunk was very minimal with only the exhaust bent and the trunk with a small crack . The other driver car was completely totaled and in pretty bad shape . Safe to say that this will keep your son safe . My Corolla was fixed and still running like a champ .

It’s been a year as of yesterday I bought my 22’ 6mt Corolla brand new, it was definitely worth putting a larger down payment as I owe less to the car than what it’s worth trade in a year later at 30k miles. I’m at 300$ a month payments couldn’t be happier that I bought a manual, the CVT is soul sucking.

Just bought this car today, I’m pretty sure this will be my daughter’s first car too

I when this in the 2022 model. Great car. Only compelling is that I don’t push start button and keyless entry with the touch of the door handle. That would be the only reason I would upgrade, because otherwise it’s a great car

I wish they continue the manual, even if they just produce a limited amount it would still sell. I own a 2020 corolla SE manual, I know it would last me a long time but I wanna have the option to buy another manual and trade my old one in once they move on to the next design and I happen to like it.

Looks strange with the front license plate mounted in the center of the grille. A nice car for the low-price tag. Would make a great first car for a high school student, college student or a new family. Toyota builds a good vehicle, and it should give you many, many miles of trouble-free driving. I just bought the same car! Out the door, I got the car for 26,295. 29,780 after fees and the service, maintenance, gap insurance, and wheel package. Never have to do maintenence on the car myself first 84k miles I guess. They did not negotiate the price at all. Apparently, they couldn't keep any corolla le or se on the lot before selling online. Is that an okay price after everything or did I get wined and dined on?

If I buys a regular SE can I add just the wireless charger? I know the premium has it but wouldn’t use a moon roof that comes with the premium

I once owned a brand new 1985 Chevy Chevette 4 door. This Corolla is light years ahead of that Chevette.

Ordered ours last Sept, still waiting…..

We're replacing our 22 year old Chrysler. Price, Durability and dependability are most important to me which narrowed it down to the Corolla and the Civic. The price of the Civic has jumped lately which left the Corolla at the top of the list. We put a deposit down and are now waiting for our new Corolla to be delivered to the dealership which may happen as early as next month.

of course why not. Toyota's are reliable cars. I am now saving for a RAV4.

Chaby I cannot believe you did not criticize the low profile tires (40 series sidewalls). Those things are prone to flats.

Don’t care for low profile tires not enough protection from running over rough things or holes.

I bought one ('20 Corolla SE) almost 5 years ago (Jul '19). Had no big problem; just oil changes, battery, & windshield wipers. Just don't like the latest model of SE they took off the Paddle Shifters.

I got a 23 Corolla le with the convenience package for 22600 snd was made in Japan.xd

My final price is $26,225 and I’m wondering if I’m paying too much or it’s a normal price.

I’d buy this car as a commuter only in a state with great weather like CA or FL. Here in CO it won’t make it out of my driveway with winter snow and ice LOL

Go figure out the price of a hybrid vs no hybrid. You must estimate your cost to replace the hybrid battery at just over 150,000 miles at a cost of about $5,000. It could be more in a few years. Every time I compare it’s cheaper to get the gas only. I’m going to pay cash for an LE. Out the door currently for $24,242 at Southwest Toyota Lawton Oklahoma. I’m waiting until the last few days of December or February 2024.

Hope you made it the gas station with the reserve tank. I keep on waiting until you do so. haha

It's an add on. Standard SE trims do not have moonroof 👍

The "SE Upgrade" gets you the moonroof. You can tell it's not an XSE because it doesn't have the full digital gauge cluster.

Like how this ar is repeatedly called a Small car. Here in Ireland/Europe it is a medium size car! Plus its only available as a Hybrid.....no petrol or diesel option....shame. Btw,my wife has a 1999 Corolla which is her daily use car.....never gives trouble

The 1.8 engine was reliable. The 2.0 Dynamic Farce engine not so much.

Toyota needs to stop with all the dealers ad -on This particular one has $822.00 worth of add-ons that are way way over priced. I've considered a Toyota in the past but I refuse to give up my money for their mark-ups and add-ons. They are losing customers with that crap

Steering wheel strongly tilted to left side. The car needs a wheel alignment.

The car has wifi hotspot? Does that mean free internet?

It has a trial but requires monthly subscription after that. Most people just use CarPlay/AA or connect car to hotspot or public wifi instead.

It's mainly for fuel efficiency and price cuts on the manufacturer. Though, this one is better than their competitors since it has a real first gear from the manual transmission that helps with lifts and torque. It aint not automatic tranmission though.

A cv transmission will out perform a regular trans in acceleration and fuel economy, because it provides the perfect gear ratio for every rpm
