Thanks, good info but EXTREMELY ANNOYING music. The level balance between the voice and music is horrid with the music way way too loud compared to the voice.

How about leather seats? You didn't mention it.

I wish they added the 2.5 enfine in there, 2.0 is a bit weak and the competition do offer a bigger 2.5 soo...

Currently in China , Hybrid model is sold for CAD 22k!

Hybrid save you alot of money, and this car is no exception. These are great cars for everyday driving and saving money so you buy car parts :)

Hybrid is more expensive and breaks more often. This is done so it has to be serviced more and this is where dealers pull in the most cash.

@@claytonwatts3518 No that is myth, i am long time hybrid owner. Yes their is risk, but the savings outweigh risk. All cars can adapt a hybrid system, and they will last longer

It's not a Crosstrek but other channels have shown the AWD here to be decent.

i have a CC with 2.0 gas engine non hybrid. I use extreme driving style (hyper milling and cruise around 80 km/h) to extract the best mileage. So far my best try was 4.167L/100km, which is about 56 MPG. My overall MPG after 8000km of driving is 46.94.( 5.0L/100km) So the M20A FKS coupled with CVT is extremely efficient.

They hybrid cvts, arent belt drive anymore, they use a planetary gearset with the engine driving one set and an electric motor modulating the output ratio, so they dont wear the same

If it’s priced the same as a Corolla, guaranteed to be car of the year.

i wanted to watch this review but that music made it impossible.

Only downside to hybrid version is that they removed the spare tire. Cheap engineering? Couldn't Toyota redesign the rear motor so that the electrical cables don't prevent a spare? When comparing the Hybrid XSE to my 2022 Hyundai Kona, I have a choice whether to stay with Hyundai in 2024 and get the 2024 Kona Limited, or switch to a Toyota hybrid crossover. The new Kona Limited and the XSE are compatible with their MSRP, but since I'm thinking of possibly keeping my next vehicle longer than the lease term, the Hybrid is a better deal as it gets 42 mpg over the 26 mpg for the Hyundai. Lucky for me, I have time to visit dealers and order the car as my delivery date won't be before October 2024 (when my current lease is up).

AS I need another crossover decision later than sooner, it may actually be cheaper for me to lease a 2024 Kona EV. I would still qualify for the Federal Tax credits of $7500 and my State has tax credits for getting an EV. Thirdly, my local utility company has rebates on installing Level 2 chargers in your home and my solar roof panel would provide Green Energy to charge my EV as needed.

First of all Toyota Corolla cross is far more reliable than a Hyundai it shouldn't be a debate because the Hyundai Kona is a pretty bad Ev in general that you should avoid

We will start with Sedan Corolla +2000 Cross +2000 Camry +2000 RAV4

When deciding which Corolla Cross to buy, you get the Rav4 instead!

For me, the Rav4 is too big, as it won't fit inside my garage and as a couple with no kids, don't need the extra room in the back seats.

The newest RAV4’s are $$$ out of reach for many consumers. And that’s before some dealers are padding the price with extras and markups.

Ugly drooping junkyard-dog mufflers & awful/cheap looking exhaust design. Take some lessons from Mazda on how to design/implement an exhaust system.

Another uninspiring and boring to drive SUV. The world needs someone to recognize a Sport Wagon with all wheel drive! A car like a wagon will give the you the best of both worlds, Handling and Utility! For example, a bigger version of the Corolla hatchback. When are people going to realize that lifted vehicles are naturally unstable!

The short answer is none of them 😂
