The 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid SE is far more powerful and fuel-efficient than its non-hybrid sibling, the Corolla Cross Hybrid is the electrified version of the best-selling vehicle of all time. It's a bit slower than its gas-only sibling, but the EPA also estimates the Corolla Hybrid gets 65% better fuel economy in city driving.
The Corolla Cross offers features not typically found in a small crossover, the 2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid is the best of both worlds, offering the engaging driving experience of a small car and the functionality of a larger crossover. From the distinguished black front grille and a chiseled front fascia to the integration of the prominent fender flares, the Corolla Cross Hybrid is an SUV that evokes a level of refinement with an urban edge. Available in the S, SE and XSE trim in electronic on-demand All-Wheel Drive, Corolla Cross is “just right”.
The XSE model comes with nice-looking faux-leather upholstery, heated front seats, a sunroof, ambient interior lighting, and a flip-down center armrest for rear-seat passengers.

Oh that's for sure. I wouldn't buy an EV, but I don't mind the plug-in hybrid though.

The hybrid is not slower than the gasoline only version, as stated in this review. The hybrid is actually much quicker.

Just bought the SE hybrid. Will see how it compares to my cx30
You didn’t mention about ground clearance
NOT slower than the gas model. Not slower from a dead stop, and not slower in passing/changing lanes. Better power than the Crosstrek and Kona, the Mazda has lousy rear visibility, the Trax is not a reliable vehicle, and the Taos is not a hybrid. Geez...!

You had me at Corolla Cross but lost me when you tacked on Hybrid. Thanks, but not thanks. How about a naturally aspirated DOHC I-4 and a SIX speed manual!

I suppose I would rather save my money for a Rav4 hybrid. The difference isn't all that much, plus I get more room. The Highlander hybrid cost is now a little hard to swallow.

Cool video, Hybrid is great for mileage per gallon, but too costly maintenance , Ev is better less maintenance.
