Psst! Pssst! Hey! Save your money and instead, just change your oil every 3000 miles. Your engine will clean itself. Save you money in the long run. Use cheap oil when you change. Fresh oil is what you want to have your motor last a long time.
Great Review I'm interested in a Genesis g90 now , Thnxxx
Now I got a question! Was going to start using High Mileage by Valvoline or do I now go with the new brand, Restore aand Protect?
Our collateral right to travel freely including the common mode of travel cant be taxed by congress or states as they do not have grant to tax a fundamental right to travel unburdened
The tax is illegal
Old engines shouldn’t use any synthetic oil.. unless you want leaks all over it.. tge rubber compounds of seals etc.. aren’t adequate to the smaller molecules in the synthetic.. 96& up motors are the proper applications for synthetic oils.. but earlier then that.. I recommend never put that crap in our old stuff…
Once AGAIN Germany is trying to enforce the will of the government on the people...Hmm sound familiar
Wait till you can't move between states.....
I don’t believe this is not true I used Castrol is the best my car is 180000😂 and still running like a champ.
My 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis has over 313,000 miles, all original, I like Castrol 20w50 (in Florida) and it’s still my daily driver, never broke down, always brought me back home.
Not all oils are the same - full synthetic oil is still the best option.
Castrol is mid. It works fine for a synthetic but it's a normal oil. Imo you can't compare Castrol to penzoil, amsoil, Valvoline
Toyota Camry engines burn oil because of poor piston design, oil rings carbon up, any proof this new oil can fix the rings that are carboned up. Would love to see them test on 2.4 Camry engine 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Tk u for great information
No grain no pain🎉
Its all the same within.00003 percent.😮
will try this oil, see what result are.
Change your oil and filter every 5000 miles. Car manufacturers only want to get you through the warranty. Changing your oil at 10000 miles will shorten the life of your engine. OEMs suggestions are bullshit. Remember oil and filters are cheap engines are not.
EVs should be less expensive than plug in hybrids st the very least. Once the Chinese electrics are allowed in the market... then prices will be more reasonable... not until then.
Valvoline commercial!
It’s an interview.
My problems with G60 is the dashboard+center console screen board seems like a very lazy design. Also, the front kidney grill looks like Lego. I like BMW's typical kidney grill design, but this is just different. They wanted to emulate the air vent with drawn lines.😓 The side looks like a Toyota altis with the extra triangle at the end. With the blackened package it'd be even worse. What's worse, BMW's offering a 7-series interior and overall size (short 7-series), but they have to put a "5" on the side. Why...... And why ditch tradition BMW side design they've been using forever...? I prefer G30 by a mile. Especially now that I know it uses the same engine.
I use 5w-40 Pennzoil Platinum Euro synthetic in my VW Golf MK7 1.8t with a Stage one tune and my Blackstone oil analysis have been excellent. Oil consumption is almost non-existent.
I put this in my car 2 days ago, based on science, not speculation.
Best advice to remember is to change your oil. No oil is good for 10,000 miles no matter what it says on the bottle.
Fact.
Plenty of people have now tested that and found different results. Even conventional oil lasts a lot longer than advertised but these conventional oils can absolutely last as long as advertised. It also depends on your engine. These smaller engines that run hotter these days tend to burn and foul oil quicker.
Be good if the youtube channel Project Farm would test this for us.
Iv giving him idea that fool never did one of them. I don't know what he's doing
Bullshit, regular oil changes with a hi detergent oil which modern oils have, will prevent build up in the first place. Flush the engine with diesel fuel every 3rd or 5th oil change will clean any build up.
I watched the restore and protect video on a different channel , the video was done at the warehouse and it was very impressive.. I'll definitely give it a try
Yeah.... It also goes through my car faster. Not sure....,,, whhhyyy
It’s funny because Amsoil Lubricants have already been doing the same thing with the Signature Series as what Valvoline is catching up with
One big difference. Valvoline is API certified
Nothing beats Amsoil.
@@ChinookBear are you sure about that? What backs that up?
Vincent is correct. In fact Amsoil was a very first synthetic oil company way before mobile one was and have been leading the industry ever since there’s nothing that touches Amsoil.
You can’t even buy Amsoil in a store. You have to order it through the company itself because other brands don’t like competing with them.
Ok to use this oil in a diesel with no DPF?
Lol she sits more manly than him he looks like he lubes his Oring valvoline
My New Dodge Ram 2015 at 5000 miles I ask if I could go from full syn to Conventional they told me yes it did not void the 100,000 miles warranty , I had them use Conventional oil , having the oil changed on time and using a good oil is the only thing you need to do . changing oil before it is black is better then after it turns black . OIL is OIL without it the engine will wear out faster . My Engine has 180,000 miles on it and still as strong as it was in 2015.
Oil is not oil. Oil has different flash points which can create carbon deposits around the rings causing early wear in the cylinders resulting in blow-by and premature engine failure. Oil also contains additives that serve multiple purposes. Reduce friction, clean buildup and reduce acidity and deal with contamination like fuel or soot to name a few. Friction reducers can be acidic and have low flash points so to much of the wrong type will cause wear. Detergents have the same problem. Then you have the shape of the oil molecules. The more refined or synthetic they are the more round and uniform the oil molecules are increases lubrication properties reducing wear without potentially acidic, low flashpoint additives. This shows for more detergent and contamination additives. So oil is oil is so wrong. If you do oil changes every 3k to 5k miles with the oil off the shelf at Wal Mart will your engine make 200k? Sure. I have multiple cars from the 90s with 300k that never had an engine problem and never saw any synthetic oil. But they also never went 5k miles without an oil change and rarely much over 3k miles. My Prius I use for Uber get an oil change the 1st of every month. Usually 8k to 12k miles. I would never do that with conventional oil.
@@cc-tb3st Without oil the Engine is Trash I use Valvoline In my Truck and Bike . Conventional . And the longer you go on the oil the more it breaks down , I rather change it at 3000 miles . Old Roughneck Crude is crude
America is ran by corporations and corperations are not going to stand by and let profits plummet due to people not being able to travel. This will not happen. Complete clickbait garbage.
Listening to a woman talk about cars is just weird.
Well then keep your mouth shut
Really loving this vehicle. In my Opinion it beats most vehicles of its caliber and provides great features. Very futuristic!
How will this do with turbo ICE
Thanks Lauren for that great info.
What's this, an ad for competition against Valvoline Extend & Restore! You're not going to beat that oil.
I am waiting for its 'revolutionar' claim to be tested and verified by Project Farm.
. . . We're going to test that!
@@CrowdSurfingGeezer Wish I could see when you do.
The oil geek did a nice video on this as well. He had the oil tested to see the components in it. I’m giving it a shot in my car. It’s got the sulphur smell like gear oil.
Hopefully, he gives us real world results soon. I want to know if I need o make the switch for all my Toyotas
Keep driving. They can't lock us all up. This shit is tyranny
I have a 2021 cx30 and I am not a fan of many of the safety features, like when it almost stops dead when a car is leaving the lane or merging onto the interstate could cause an accident if I would have known it did this, I would not have bought it. I hate the short backend. I only like the Bluetooth, blind spot monitoring, backup camera and the look of the front, that is all I like about it. I really regret buying this car. But your review was very informative thank you for that.
Thanks for the info. What about sports cars? I prefer Porsche and don’t care for any political parties
Good thing I don’t recognize nonsense. Doesn’t hurt that I own a 4X4. I don’t need roads.
Hackers are going to locking whole citys of cars and demanding 1 million in bit coin to unlock all the cars😂😂😂
This guy's body language comes off pretty smug to me. Hope he shaves his head with Valvoline !
He seems afraid of her.
So basically, what he is saying is that Valvoline does not need to sell any other oil for light duty cars, trucks and SUV's. How much you bet they don't do that?
So, They are going to issue millions of citations every weekend ?
I have a 2002 chevy ZR2 and tried all the top 10 engine oils available ! The pennzoil ultra platinum so far is the best ! And $27 for a 5qrt jug and free shipping is a no brainer ! All my other vehicles get supertech every 3 to 4k and no issues whats so ever ! Im still going to try restore n protect soon !
I've been running Pennz U-P in my Altima since I bought it, I'm sitting at 205K miles and I don't have any leaks or even seepage I still cannot believe it.
can i use this oil in my chevy which is gm recommending dexon1 spec ??????
Can You? Nothing is stopping ya... That said you didn't specify if your Chevy is still under warranty... If you should need any Warranty Coverage, GM might not appreciate you not using a "Recommended" Dexos rated Oil, etc... If you read Valvoline's FAQ about Restore and Protect... They are suggesting for Users that want/need a Dexos rated Oil to use Valvoline Advanced (which is Dexos rated). Otherwise, Valvoline is claiming Restore and Protect is its best Oil option. For applications calling for API SP/GF6A and prior classifications. For my 2014 GMC Terrain (113K miles) it is long out of Warranty... And would have been recommended to use Dexos (Gen 1, 2010-2015). While API SN+ and SP are catching up to Dexos (Gen 2 and Gen 3)... Dexos Gen 3 still has an edge on several fronts. So if you are planning to continue using the Manual's recommended Time/Miles/OLM... You may want to stay with a Dexos rated option. Alternatively, see what your manual/dealership suggests about using non Dexos Oils. They might suggest using a specific Change Interval? For example my Terrain's OLM "allows" 6-8K miles before it considers the Oil Life to be nearing 0% and warn to change.... But because of Fuel Dilution (5%) issues (Shorter Trips, Stop and Go, excess idling) its Oil (a 5W30, Dexos Gen3) was already "due" at just (3,000 miles/8 months) 54% Oil Life Remaining... I'll be trying Restore and Protect in my 2003 Saturn ION (which doesn't have a Dexos requirement, just API SL or better) first, when I have a handle on my Terrain's Fuel Dilution (and have a baseline on any wear numbers I'll feel more comfortable "experimenting" with the "new" engine and not risk unforseen failures because the GM engine "needs" something specified by Dexos but not (so much) by API SP...
Coach very interesting video, our three Good Year repair shops were Valvoline users. One of my older customers in the early eighties gave me a Valvoline 18k tie clasp with the logo and 100 year Valvoline anniversary from 1864 to 1964 which I still have. Valvoline has always been a good oil brand. With other oils a person needs to be mind full of the word blend, I believe it can be as low as 18% synthetic, I always recommended full synthetic for the small difference in price compared to the much better benefit especially here in Florida with the high humidity. Thanks to Mike Warholic.
Full synthetic doesn't mean 100% synthetic. It means highly refined minimum 20% synthetic. Amsoil is the only 100% synthetic oil. I just tried Royal Purple for the first time from Mobile 1 on a 238,000 Mile 2022 Prius Prime I use to do Uber. It made a huge difference in engine noise. I'm going to do amsoil soon but I'm very happy with Royal Purple. I thought I was happy with Mobil 1. Been lifelong customer but the change in the sound of the engine is crazy. I used to get complements from passengers about how quite the engine was when it was running. That stopped around 180,000 miles. 2nd day on Royal Purple and I got a complement from a passenger at 237,000 miles.
@@cc-tb3st Actually, Amsoil is not 100% synthetic. It's a marketing term used. Ford Boss man had an oil analysis done on the Signature series and it wasn't 100% synthetic. It doesn't matter if it says full synthetic or 100% synthetic. It's just a marketing term used. I am not saying Amsoil isn't good but it costs a lot more money than the other major brands.
I will ignore this, laughing hysterically as I drive down the road with my middle finger raised on high.
You need to mention broken odometers. When you test drive a car, see if the odometer changes. If the Carfax report has the same milage, the odometer is broken and you can make a guess when it broke. Some vehicles are prone to this failure and the sales people do not check for it. The car becomes an auction car at that point and you can negotiate appropriately since you would be their only buyer.
