I think you nailed it. A lot of reviews miss the point. It’s the perfect car all around. And people have no idea how good theses cars are in manual mode because no one tries to drive it that way. I have a 2016. And over 400 rpm’s in manual mode I can overtake any car on the road double time. I can’t imagine what this 2.5 rd feels like on winded forest roads.

There seem to be more finicky people who watch these reviews. Are they as picky with their food, clothes, children's schools?

Great review, thank you. More power, bigger brakes, better handling, better sound system, less road noise. I will trade in my 2021 Sport Tech for this one.

This is the car I'm saving for. Just want something nice. I don't get all the whining. I have a CVT impreza now and it drives fine.

I have been driving this car for a month and I absolutely love it. All I see are people complaining that it doesn’t come in manual. It drives great without it!

I think it should have gotten a 6 speed manual option and 200hp

I love this car! Saving my money, wanting it so!

Great review! Winner if they only would add a donut spare tire and fix the infotainment center to exclude the HVAC control add physical tactile dials. I'm looking to replace my 2012 Impreza within the next 2-4 years.

All three are removable but the seats fold down fine with the tall, outboard ones in place. Visibility out back with them in place is still excellent, just the very extents of the rear hatch window are blocked at all.

What colors do they have?

I picked up an 2021 Impreza sport 'in manual " in 22. Love the car but I can't stop accessorising it. Also I like my spare tire, and AC control knobs.

​@@theamazinggoldfish8713I got the 19' Impreza touring it 22' fantastic car handles great I love having physical knobs and buttons as well as a manual hand break. I also have the issue of not being able to stop customizing it and doing little mods to it hear and there

While I really want this car, that infotainment is goofy and feels like a liability for distracted driving. It's even funnier when you mention that Subaru is adamant not doing a full digital gauge cluster, but makes its infotainment practically a tablet with very few physical buttons.

I just bought one two days ago with the power package, etc... its the most you can get delivered, I live in Chicagoland, sticker was $31,696, I paid $30,696 (yep dealer actually took money off).

@@St23-sd9qr Its great actually. I have owned many hatchbacks and in the past was not impressed with the Imprezza so never had one before. They used to be very plain inside, but this 2024 model they spruced it up esp with this RS. Found the sweet spots to accelerate nicely despite the CVT - used to that from other CVT's. Its a great all around vehicle. Very comfortable seats, roomy in theback and lots of space with the seats down. The Harmon Kardon stereo sounds REALLY good. Its handling is superb. Again, got it July 1st, have 1600+ mostly local miles and Im at 28.2 MPG so far - All automatic / intelligent mode driving. No inclement weather here yet, will see about that in the winter

I can't praise this car enough. Alone this car is 10% off from being perfect and that's mind boggling. I really do love this car it's just my patience grows thin because I want my impreza rs already. They did an excellent job on everything they did to this car, I really really love hatchbacks, and this car from every single review I seen this is straight forward F.U.N my car impreza rs is in crystal white pearl, few STI parts because a subaru doesn't look right till you add STI parts then it looks like a subaru that I know of. (When i ordered this car they didn't let he have every single STI part possible and they shown the car off in Tokyo of 2023 at the car show with every single STI part that I know of and put it on the car, I wanted the whole thing when I was ordering it because that RS looks amazing with all the STI parts on it. I wish I got the strut bar but they didn't have the option available when I was ordering pretty bummed about it but I do have the STI spoiler so yeah. Glad I can say I have an official STI part on my car and love it.)

Just drove a 1400 mile road trip and survived just fine.

Subaru keeps making the same mistake. They don't offer embedded navigation for those like, me who don't want to deal with a phone.

Their imbedded navi at least on mine 2018 Crosstrek Limited leaves a lot to be desired. Google maps is sooo much better than TomTom.

Any car that you have to drop the engine to change spark plugs is a no by for me. 😂

@@lennygarrison6836 all Subaru cars are built like that. you have to drop the engine to remove spark plugs. That's all boxer engines are like that. Mechanic will charge about 400 to do spark plugs depends on where you live.

@@dantoine0 I have recently had the spark plugs replaced in my 2018 Impreza. I don't think they dropped the engine as the labour charge was I thought quite minimal. This was from my local Subaru dealership so I guess they have the tools and experience to do the job in an efficient manner. And I have changed the spark plugs myself in a previous Legacy wagon.

​@@dantoine0NOT true at all! I've changed the plugs myself on my wife's 2.5 outback and my own 2.0 impreza. Takes about 1.25 hours, and I'm not a mechanic and i am slow. It's not hard at all.
