Nice review. Bought one, delivered in February. It’s still new so I’m not caning it but the engine is fine, it has plenty of punch even in the higher gears and it likes to rev. Gearbox needs some warmth in it to be smooth. I enjoy the safety tech, didn’t like adaptive cruise at first but now do. The review didn’t mention the autonomous emergency braking but this has kicked in once and was very pleasing feature. Practicality is okay and the boot is big enough for day to day stuff and I do a school run in it some days with my stuff and multiple school items. It is a 2 seater so the back seat is good storage. There are not a lot of storage places in the car. It is a joy to drive but I suspect very easy to loop in inexperienced hands, rear drive cars just are. Be aware that other SUV’s and Utility drivers often don’t see you in these cars, be careful of where you place the car in traffic and make allowance for people commuting when we are all drivers. Go on, buy one!

1:15 215 tires are super skinny, so why would you say the wide hips are important to incorporate the 215/40/18s. I've never heard a statement make less sense than that

If you fitted wider tyres it would look like a fat arse, the hips are such a nice feature of the car, wide tyres would spoil how it drives too.

@@J_S209 yeah I agree with that. But what he said is that they put wide hips AKA wide fenders on the car to help incorporate 215 size tires. And he used the word incorporate. Generally wider fenders are put on a car to fit wide tires. You don't need wide fenders to fit skinny tires. It was a ridiculous comment

Caught that too. Terrible commentary. Even said that the TS was equipped with the 215s Iike the standard trims aren’t. My limited has the same wheels and tires

The license plate bracket on the front is really bad. They should’ve never put that on there.

There is no bracked on the car. Just a flatter spot and a couple of holes, which in most states will be covered by an actual bracket.

2/10 car review. Among many weird or incorrect statements, the car does not have a short wheelbase at 101.4 inches. That's more than 10" longer than a Miata. Also longer than a Supra and many other sportscars. And the base BRZ rides very well. The BRZ tS has an upgraded suspension that rides stiffer. It has nothing to do with the wheelbase or the weight. You should have spent more time comparing the differences between the regular BRZ and the tS. Your video is made for someone who never heard of a BRZ which is practically no one that found your video. Does the tS ride too stiff for daily use? Can you still slide the tail out? Is it less fun the than base car? Instead your summation of the tS is that it has extra flavor. Not very useful. If you can't make a fun video with this car, the gig is not for you.

It’s faster than the 2024 WRX, and keeps up with the prior WRX STI. What more do you want from a $30k car?

@@moldyrefrigerator Love the car. Definitely and sadly, the engine is the weakest "link". I'm getting tS in 4 weeks... knowing that engine might fail... ready to replace it with Toyota 2.5 L engine.

@@moldyrefrigerator Exactly! I have a 2023 BRZ but before this I had a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 with 400+hp and still wasn’t as fun is this car. You could drift this car easy with amazing handling and it’s so light that it accelerates quick so it doesn’t really feel like it has only 228hp

@@user-ix9hl4uw5i lol, good luck of that engine swap. Would be much better and cheaper to put built FA 2.4l and bigger oil pan.

It’s actually quite okay … the low centre of gravity makes it so much fun to change direction and drive.
