2022 Laramie doesn’t come close to the limited ram. It’s way nicer and interior is first class. But I definitely see what your saying. It’s a big difference in price. Crazy expensive

Middle class ( working class ) yeah we can afford these. But is it worth living stressed out ? I make awesome money but these trucks are too expensive . I make 125k a year and I feel broke living single with 0 debt to ratio . These are way too expensive for today’s economy. They’re worth 65k at most for me but there’s so many individuals that are still buying them for more than what they’re worth and it’s keeping their prices up. I love Cummins and Dmax . Just try not to push away yalls costumers

Feel ya man....in the same ballpark salary and cannot imagine paying these prices. I must be making chump change compared to the rest if 80-100k trucks is the norm. Ford raised their prices for the f150 as well...50k for a base model truck is bonkers.

Absolutely. Get 6.2 or 7.3 gas engine with 8 ft bed. I have 2023 Ram 3500 Limited LWB DRW. . I just found out that fuel filter ( one in the engine and one under chasis ) change costs $560 at the dealer. I paid 102k which was 7k below msrp. If you can't write it off for business, it is not worth it. It does drive good

One thing I can't wrap my head around is that it's a 2024 with a 6 speed. I can get a 24 king ranch f450, 10 speed, with more horsepower for the same price.

Cummins is what semis use, contractors, construction, and engineers use these in their bulldozers and machines to build buildings and all other projects. You buy that engine, not depending on the Baker who puts it to use. Ran was lucky and it was their best move ever they make the most money from utility commercial deals and government contracts. We used power wagons in Iraq in 145-degree heat Fahrenheit..... The Rams were the only trucks to start correctly and even our tanks couldn't start up in that heat without computer failures. Ram computers didn't care! They just ran. So that was the most impressive thing ever. 😮

How do you even drive these? The 1500s feel huge, the 3500s have to feel enormous!

There are a lot of them sitting on dealers lots because of the price. A local dealership has 10 percent off msrp. And there still not selling.

Is there a chirping noise when you put it in 2nd or 3rd gear because it’s a Mega Cab? Is there any problems or recalls for the 2024 HD Trucks? Can you park it in your garage? Does it drive better than a 2022 Ram HD Trucks? Is the cab bigger? Is the interior redesigned or does it still have the same interior from 2022? Do you hear any chirping noises when you put it it in 2nd or 3rd gear or did they get rid of it?

I have 2023 2500 Limited LWB DRW and it will not park in normal garage space unless it is the warehouse garage spacing.

I didnt originally like the mega cab, but it has grown on me enough that I know have it on a super short list of next truck to buy. It would be a gasser though.

Cost to maintain is too high with Diesel truck. Fuel filter alone cost $560 at the dealers. You can buy the gasser and get your gas at Costco for $1 cheaper than diesel and no def and no fuel filter management.

@@Brian_Eugene_Lee They won't cut it, Cummins has been Ram's most successful supplier for over 50 years now, and they are still going pretty damn strong. They wouldn't have a reason to close up their partnership with Cummins, unless they will for whatever reason discontinue the 6.7L, which everybody hopes they don't though! I am still waiting for a more powerful engines though, I want to see them kick Ford down again and take the 1st place in terms of Power output and towing capacity such as payload, and obviously also raise the GVWR!

Hopefully the rear axle is straight. Just found out this week my rear axle was installed incorrectly. It's a 2019 RAM 2500 with the Cummins. Rear air ride suspension. Has been pulling right from since purchasing it brand new. I finally took it in 2 weeks ago for an alignment. The alignment shop called me and said I better take it back to the Dealer for repairs. The solid rear axle will not align properly, because it was not installed on the frame straight.

Longhorn is supposedly a higher trim level than the limited but I ordered the limited because I don’t like the colors in the longhorn……

I've got a 2022 dually that I drive commercially. It's got not one but three recalls that are about a year old, two of which involve spontaneous fires. Can't get the recalls dealt with due to lack of parts. Technically this truck should be parked. But I can't afford an 800 dollar a month payment with no money coming in. Think twice before you buy anything from FCA.

I have had three RAMs… one 2500 and two 3500... and all three have been a total headache, I really will never buy a RAM again, problems with the turbo, problems with the transmission, problems with the DEF system... and the dealer never responded for any of the failures... the worst in trucks... 👎🏼

@georgethegshep7344 I recently had my transmission go out. after talking to three transmission shops they pretty mentioned the 68rfe in the rams life expectancy is just about 100000. dealership kind-of tipped toed around that same number as well. So I am sure some trucks may never have a problem of pote talky if someone is not towing may not have problems. I would say I tow some but not what I feels would be excessive. bit with a 2500 6.7 cummings I feels one should not have to worry as long as you don't tow over 19000 pounds. I towed 7000 pounds and less than 13000 miles over 6 years. fluid changes were completed at the dealer. Nothing out of the ordinary was ever noticed during towing. Fluid is as red as can be. So not sure why or how the transmission started acting up. but I rant. I can't compare it to gm products as I never owned a HD GM products. But anyways. just stating my situation with my Ram.
