I really hope we do get the third Bloodsworn book this year 🤞🏻That would be so exciting! And I definitely preferred Liveship to Hobb’s first trilogy so curious to see what you’ll make of it.

Soooo many exciting series (and puzzling content) plans!! The Atlas Complex though... that low rating isn't for nothing if you ask me lol. Curious to hear what you make of it!! And yessss, so excited for you to read The Battle Drum and give RotE a second chance. I personally jived much better with Liveships, hope the same will be true for you! Happy reading ;)))

Yeah I am nervous for those low ratings...if I don't like it then I'm sure someone will buy my Fairyloot matching set of the series.

i would like to start with thanking you for inspiring me to read more . my general aims : reading 40 books + reading good books, not forcing myself to read something that i do not like :) series to finish : the plated prisoner series (i am waiting for the last book to read book 5 en 6 in one go), letters of enchantment by rebecca ross (i have started ruthless vows), and then i think ill pick up fireborne , and after that, i do not know yet :) i have many on the list i would like to read including stormlicht archive and wheel of time series but i need to be in the mood for long series.

I haven't read the Atlas Complex yet but I am not very preoccupied by the low ratings, they were low before the book was even out and Arcs were sent. The Atlas Paradox ratings are low too but I loved the book anyway. I need to read the Tyranny of Faith. Like you, I liked the first book but wasn't blown away by it but everyone seems to love book 2 more. I dnFed the Jasmine Throne but it stuck in my mind somehow so I think I will give it another chance at some point. But waiting for the release of book 3 to do so. And same I just want to read The Will of the Many but I am waiting for the release of it in paperback and it is taking forever. And then I will have to wait forever for book 2 to be released in paperback too. But it is calling to me. I have so many series to finish but just picked up the Poppy War on a whim 😓

The ratings for the Atlas series are concerning! I'm like what has happened here! I think for the Jasmine Throne it's quite a slow moving book so I can understand DNFing it. The Will of the Many just needs to be quiet and wait its turn when the rest of the series is out! 😂

The last book in the Jasmine Throne series was supposed to come out last year I think! I am also saving The Oleander Sword to read closer to the release of the last book. Can't wait for your thoughts on all of these!

All last year I was like but I'm sure this 3rd book is meant to be coming out soon...I can't believe it's not being released until the end of 2024

The average rating for the third Atlas book scares me 😬 I was surprised to see the Atlas Six only has a 3.62 average, that's lower than I was expecting!
