When I feel like I am not making progress with my knitting goals, I cut my number of goals in half. It took some self talk to convenience myself that two or three goals is enough for the week but it really is. You are amazing! You work full time and get so much knitting done.

If you work from two skeins at a time (alternate skeins as you go round) you won’t get the big jump in colour from one skein to another. Always good to do with indie dyed yarns. 💕

The Riley tee is so pretty! I’m sorry to hear you’ve been feeling a bit swamped by your projects… I know that I love that boost of a finished object!

I usually assume the internet is so vast. 💚 lovely makes, your color choices are absolutely gorgeous. Maybe going more towards a happy medium will help with the stuck in the middle feeling. How about pulling back to 3 wips at a time? Like an 1 easy knit, 1 difficult, and 1 small. That way you have variety aaaaand get the FO quicker 🤷🏽

The finished object boost is why I always have a pair of socks on the needles... otherwise I get that swamped feeling like you. Obviously knitting socks isn't for everyone, though! I've also somehow been able to fly through a fingering-weight tolsta this past 3 day weekend, it's not done yet but it's getting close. Definitely when you have a "favorite project" it's tempting to spend all of your time on that

i totally feel you on the slump. I've got 3 garments in fingering weight on the needles and they just seem like they'll never end. Ive finished a few accessories but it's not as satisfying haha especially since they were gift knits. I cast on my first ranunculus this weekend in sewrella DK yarn i picked up during the oopsie sale and oh my god it's been flying off the needles. It's been 4 days and im an inch into the body. this has been good for my morale. the bridgerton yarn looks so lovely! cant wait to see the rest of the collection and your project

You are making incredible progress on ALL your projects. You have a lot of large projects on the go and working a little on this one and a little on that one makes progress on all but you are correct, you can’t have finished projects quickly. You will have a lot of finished projects one after the other. At the beginning of starting all these projects you said you hoped you wouldn’t get to the slump spot and would deal with it when you do. We all get there when starting a lot of larger projects so you are not alone. Maybe stick with one and finish and it will be a great feeling and push to work on all the others. Love your projects and your work and your videos are amazing.

I just got my avatar advent and I’m going to make a sweatshop blanket!! It’s on the back burner though because my pharmacy is closing so I’m making my coworkers socks so that’s my main priority rn. I have 3 weeks to make 2 more pairs of socks.

I love all the hot pink. Where do you get your progress keepers?

So interesting to learn what US Americans have as holidays, never thought a Presidents' Day would be among that. Are the holidays the same everywhere in the US or does it depend on the state? The colour of the Riley Tee is really nice, my first thought was actually Bridgerton. I confess I am kinda hooked by Bridgerton, too! Is the Riley Tee cropped? It looks like it in the photo.

President's Day is a National Holiday so it's celebrated all through the US, though not all companies take the day off. It's kind of a minor National holiday, lol. The Riley Tee is cropped, but I'll probably add a bit of length.
