    Great video. I really appreciated that you said realistic percentages for drivetrain losses. So many people assume modern drivetrain losses are 20% and over inflate the crank numbers. 12% loss is realistic with that car. You have definitely earned the sub from me. Great video.

    Stop waving that keyboard towards the car! my anxiety is through the roof! nice dark horse. hello from Gainseville, fl, it's hot here too. None of these other shops are logging AF ratio? Thought that was pretty standard with dyno runs or is that only when tuning or forced induction?

  • @jordanperformance

    @jordanperformance

    10 ай бұрын

    pretty standard yes but since these cars have factory wideband 02 sensors, they're probably not using the dyno wideband to check. And my assumption is that not all the shops actually go through the trouble to datalog using IDS or FDRS since no other aftermarket softwares are currently supported.

    A lot of the dyno videos of the manual DH were pulled in 4th gear because of hitting the speed limiter in 5th and not being able to go to redline. How did you get around that with a 5th gear pull?

  • @jordanperformance

    @jordanperformance

    10 ай бұрын

    Probably because its a handling pack car with Y rated tires (186mph). My assumption is that my factory speed limiter might be higher than the non handling pack cars. The factory governor in a given vehicle is DIRECTLY correlated to the tires that are installed from the factory. I.e. - aunt sallies toyota corolla might have a 140mph speedometer but her factory "S" rate tires means she's governed at 118mph..

    So what exactly is wrong with the car? I’m a bit confused…? The car limits itself for what reason?

  • @jordanperformance

    @jordanperformance

    10 ай бұрын

    When the pcm detects a major fault, often times the car will not go to PE fueling or “power enrichment”. With no fuel going to the motor, it won’t make power and will start to knock and the pcm will pull back the spark timing. No fuel and no timing = no power!

    That's correct. Until the PCM is unlocked and at the very least mapped so the datalogging can work, most people are essentially flying blind. @jordanperformance oh yea im familiar, you marry the A10 valve body with that tool I had to seek people out for that had lots of trouble with my 10r80... I didn't realize they could use read only mode, well for sure a LOT of what I've seen and my assumptions from it are now irrelevant and I have to reaccess everything...if they don't know commanded and actual lambda, timing, torque source, torque tables who even knows what the A10 is commanding for power or the TWIN throttle bodies opening angles are...vs timing...cat over temp kicking in at track.... Yea ALL my assumptions based on most content I have to re assess.....I still hate the mark up, but we don't even know if it's maintaining 90 degree throttle angle on each throttle body from the hit,.how long it takes to get there from the hit, how the nannies are affecting timing vs throttle angle even precharge pressures and torque management is this gen A10 giving you the 2019 drag mode shifts cause that was 3 tenths on my car...we wouldn't know if active octane logic is enabled and learning your fuel source....what is the intake to exhaust cam timing doing during the duration of a run down the track vs ect and IAT...I mean 100s of variables we simply don't know that could be holding it back....I played a lot with cam phasing at cruise and wot on my 2019...it can be huge..... Yea we know almost nothing then.......
