luxury, and pioneers in matters of style. With a simple-sounding formula, they created highly complex things: perfection and craftsmanship paired with innovation, both technically and in terms of workmanship.
This is what the name Maybach stands for to this day. The Mercedes-Maybach brand continues to develop, with more models - soon also electric. At the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Mercedes-Maybach presented the "Concept EQS" and thus gave a preview of the first fully electric series model from 2023. The SUV will be based on the modular architecture for luxury - and premium-class electric vehicles from Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Maybach is presenting the "Edition 100" to mark its 100th anniversary. A special edition of the current S-Class and GLS models, each limited to 100 units. The special series can be ordered from the fourth quarter of 2021.

Details about the Mercedes Benz 2022 S Class 680 Maybach for PetrolHeads:
It’s equipped with a 612 HP V12 engine which produces 900 Nm of torque 9G tronic transmission.
2023 S Class Maybach 680 0-100 km/h (62mph) can be reached in 4.5 seconds!
The top speed VMAX is electronically limited to 250 km/h (155mph)

As a car enthusiast in my late 20’s with only $12 in my bank account currently, I feel like I will miss out on sooo much even if im able to afford them in the future 😔 I will definitely never have a brand Mercedes v12 for example I guess 😢
I honestly would rather have the V8, but you have to appreciate the fact they are giving the V12 one final chance to shine.

The V-8 is a Hybrid. The 12 is simpler with more power and torque.

As long as you can afford the synthetic Fuel that's fine but it will be about twice the price of Premium gas.

Pfft....Maybach is just a trim package$$$$. There is no Maybach engine technology in that car. Mercedes bought the Maybach name and Maybach Motorenbau is now called MTU.

My big great issue with this car is how much of that cheap looking neon tubing type of lighting they put throughout the interior. It’s way too much. Ridiculous for a nice car like this. It cheapens the interior look. It does. Also I hate the goofy starlights they put in the roof panel. Hate that. Also ridiculous. Don’t like these gimmicks for such a nice car. Keep the gimmicks out.
