Its 43 liter tank at 53 mpg (UK) returns 500 miles. 181 BHP is huge in this class! You only need the Premium pack and the white mica pearl paint.

The BMW X1 Yes it looks nicer and is more spaceus. But it's more expensive to purchase, drive, insure and maintain over the years. IMO the UX is perfect for two persons

The trackpad thing is a bit controversial but I prefer it rather than touch screen. IMO the weirdest ergonomics decision was the hand brake button on your right knee.

Cant see the (P) button hidden behind steering wheel. In an emergency it would take a few seconds fumble to find it and then do I push or pull it?

@@fivish Good question and most ironically I drive an UX daily… I would press the brake at maximum.

I prefer my 2019 Lexus UX 250h AWD F Sport (zero issues, not even recalls) vs. the new one. I enjoy the track-pad, the commands on the restarm, the black plastic fenders etc. By the way, it is the most reliable car in the luxury subcompact crossover segment (and it has also the lowest TCO in its segment). Excellent performance, average 5.9l/100km despite being driven at higher speeds than legal outside the town, most of the time. The first set of front brake pads I changed at 63'000 km (but they might have lasted close to 70k), despite of a very spirited driving, mostly on mountainous roads. The back brake pads are doing better, of course - the originals will be replaced far later. Other than consumables, I had nothing to change. Excellent Bridgstone Turanza RFT tyres, behaving like regular tyres. For the winter I bought Bridgestone Blizzak LM 005, champions for our mountain area. The white pearl paint is also great, almost no chips from high speeds (a small one from a rock that ricocheted in the front window, but didn't damage it). Perfect for a couple plus a child (or a dog in our case). Many complained of the trunk space, but I was able to fit even a 65" OLED TV once. The back space is not big, but still OK for most persons.

I bought it because I have sciatica, lower back problems and right shoulder issues. When you sit in it, somehow the driver visibility looks like you're inside a jet cockpit, the front 180 degrees field of blends in and gives it a more half circle feel, I don't know how they did it, but it sold me, I buy Toyotas, this is my first Lexus.

I love my Lexus 250h like I would love a... not-normal child of mine. It is great but let's stop talking about fuel efficiency - I get 10.7 pe 100. Only because my wife has to camp 2-3 days per month for 30-60 min in the parking lot, to make sure the car will start the next day. I do have a jumper/booster now, and we are not so worried anymore, but still we need to do that regularly. I do not think this is acceptable, having to own a booster in order to be fine with a car you drive daily. Multimedia system is absolute trash compared with any other system out=there. The navigation, lol, it's a joke, as a system and the visuals. You are better off using waze or gmaps. Everything else looks and feels the same - like a junior programmer did all the job in house, without any supervision. Do I love my car? yes. drives nicely, feels nice all around. Will I get a Lexus in the next 2 years? No F way! I bought it for the fiability. It let me down in the first month. I expected a smoothless and pleasant multimedia system. It is just not there.
