Lexus UX300e '24MY - Is THIS Lexus's best EV?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Despite having decades of experience with hybrids, Lexus has struggled to make an impact with us in the full EV market. Two years ago, their UX300e didn't really cover itself in glory, and even their latest, the RZ450e, has left us disappointed. But now we have a substantially revised UX300e, and despite looking similar, the car now offers a great deal more than the original did. So, do they finally have a worthy entrant into the burgeoning EV world? As always, Bryan subjects the new Lexus UX300e to the full AutoEV road test to find out.

Chademo ends this story
I currently drive a UX Hybrid as I'm still not brave enough for 100% electric to do a long drive and have a guaranteed charging place half way, let alone the re-charge time. However, I like to swap every 3 years and I will re-address everything at that point. May I say what a professional job you made of this review. It really is broadcast quality in terms of content, audio and video. Well done. I just subscribed to you. Peter.
Chademo is the Japanese standard but why on earth have them on European designated versions.
Lexus is no longer about perfection. They just seem to think that filling a car with plush leather fixes everything. They clearly do not have any confidence in their EV capabilities....what a seriously compromised car....a real shame but that's just the way Toyota/Lexus and Honda are going. Great review Brian😊
It was going so well until they retained the chademo charger. Big mistake. So I'm still pleased I've ordered the Megane. 43:48
£57k , more than Ionic5, and absolutely no comparison.
Good review thanks. By the way if you want to understand why only the passenger seat has a seat back pocket, try accessing them while your in the driving seat.
I like the look of this vehicle, but I personally like the lines and overall look of the RZ 450e the most.
please advise AUDI Q40 SPORT ETRON OR THE LEXUS UX 300 E i cant make my mind up.
Another great video... So I'm loving this car but does a second hand ipace not equal it to refinement... For me ipace is a bit to big and insurance is like a ferrari lol. Would love your comparison please. Thanks kindly Craig.
I actually prefer the shapes of the Lexus RX and RZ a lot more than the UX. To me they are just about the best looking cars on the market.
The best I could say about the styling, is that it’s interesting. Tortured maybe, but good looking? Nope.
Hello. You have nice car reports, but please understand that thumbs up and subscreibe isn't something we can be told to do before we have seen if quality of the video is at the level for this😅

Which is why I ask you to do it after you’ve watched the video. Hopefully you’ve liked them enough to do so. If you have, thank you.
Wish you well trying to find a Chademo charger. Looks like it has been deliberately hampered. Lazy view on the European market which is CCS.
I’ve an opportunity to get a new UX 300e but only the base model at £47k. I’m hoping it’ll tick all the boxes as the premium version is a few grand over my budget. Is there anything in the premium that’ll make me pay the extra ££££ ?
I cannot look at the front of a Lexus without seeing Gary Larson's fat kid cartoon character.
I though CCS was mandatory in Europe. Chadamo, it’s almost as if Toyota don’t want to throw a 6 and join in with EVs…….
18min for IONIC 5.
the drop floor boot is a no no for me. The New Kona has a flat floor.
3 possibilities why the charging performance is so bad (by the way, also AC): 1) It should actually only be sold in Japan (the charging stations there have 50 kW, will soon be expanded to 90 kW) and the accidental sales worldwide are simply taken. 2) A complete idiot has written the requirements. 3) Lexus (Toyota) continues its stubborn course to vehemmently resist electromobility and do not want to lose their regular buyers to good own e-cars and finally then completely to Chinese or other brands.
I screwed up my eyes and persevered past the styling - after all, you can't see that when you're inside - and gave up when we got to the back seat. This car is a two-seater - and an ugly one - so it's off the list. Thank you for saving me a visit to a Lexus showroom to find out!
Range???? Consumption?????

Why do you say that?
Lexus, is Toyota, and Toyota are being dragged kicking and screaming into full EV mode.
Not a fan of the styling inside or out. Toyota haven't been invested in electric power and will need to catch up quickly if they are to survive.
Just noticed the half full gauge, what crap.
It's not good
Don't like the look of the Lexus, high quality interior though.
NO seat settings, don't say there you go, say wtf, or similar. No doubt your being paid....

Ha ha ha!!! If only we were…… Don’t be absurd.
Toyota forced To STOP all production in Japan as software creates chaos The Electric Viking 167K
No C.C.S . No buy. So disappointed as they added it to the 450e.
Not good looking, too much false grill.
Sadly a “dogs dinner” of a car
External looks dated for a 24 model. Pricey at 150kW and still CHAdeMO... Hilarious! There are a lot of better options out there than this overpriced luxury "half-attempt" by Lexus.
