Having a reliable sports car was kinda impossible until Lexus revealed f sport series. This car is absolutely a piece of art. This is the car I would rather drive to the college every morning.

I wouldn’t say impossible, there’s plenty of reliable sportscar available. This is a sedan though.

I love having physical buttons for basic functions and the ventilated seats and also having a traditional type of shifter lever.

Love this car. It doesn’t have the performance of its competitors but the real appeal to me is the build quality, reliability, nice performance and the exterior…wow I mean it’s the best looking exterior in this segment. 0-60 in still about 5.6 seconds is just fine to me. I’ve owned many Lexus and Toyotas and having a car you don’t need to worry about for hundreds of thousands of miles is nice.

i'm very interested in this particular model of the is350 sport sedan, however i noticed lexus has copied off from the benz sedan model of the cup holders how it automatically comes out once you push on it i remember seeing that in an earlier model benz about 2005-2007?? Also i like the rear shader, now is there any custom side window shaders i can buy that are custom made to fit this exact model?? for both side passenger windows w the sun shader that you can pull up or down not the ones that automatically slap down themselves.

Have a 2023RX500H F-sport and a 2024 IS350 F-sport and love both. The rear electric motor on the RX does make it move and loaded with tech. The IS does need interior updates but like buttons and other analog features. If they had an IS500 at the two dealers near me, would of went with that as my daily over the IS350. Son and I are both 6'+ and when bringing my mom places, we use the RX so she has room and the ability to use ventilated and heated rear seats that recline. One mistake was not getting the one with the larger Mark Harmon radio system. Asked the saleswoman if I was able to have them upgrade it without it being a huge cost and causing warranty issues.

The IS500 is the fast one. Cool having an old V8 option. The BMW M340i is $10k more then this but has a very powerful turbo 6. Same with the Audi S4

i got one in May and enjoy it, it's a 2021 pretty much same spec as this minus the sunroof. Paint is in the atomic silver, same red leather and same rims

Whats the differences with the F sport "design"

Sure this generation IS is getting very old, 10 years I believe, but I stil think it looks fantastic, the interior is well appointed and simple, and that 3.5L V6 is a gem of an engine that we will not be seeing after this generation ends. Plus the engine is naturally aspirated, and you don't see a lot of N/A 6-cylinders anymore. Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus are really the only manufacturers offering one, but again, those V6 engines are not going to be here a long time. People hate on it for being old, but this is still one of the best Lexus vehicles that are still available, and it'll last you years~ That N/A V6 is a proven engine, and Lexus is one of the top manufacturers in the luxury segment that focus on reliability very heavily, which is why I would always choose Lexus over most European competitors.

Yeah this has a lot going for it. Just hard to not look at the European cars at the same price with turbo 6 cylinder engines that are significantly faster, better performing and have bette tech. This will last 300k miles all day tho and the competitors won't. But the others will still last 100k with no issues. So just depends on how long you plan on keeping the car and what you want it to do

I saw these on the Lexus lot. Amazing vehicles. The only change would be the changing the trackpad to the wireless Charger and to bring in the newer touchscreen from the ES or LC to this. Lexus build quality is great and having physical buttons for climate control is now rare.

IS 350 doesn't need more HP. 300+ horsepower is plenty. It needs more torque at the lower end.

Probably one of the best looking 4dr sedans, next to the most recent Acura Integra. Definitely needs AWD with the full performance of the 3.5L VVT V6.

I want a lexus

My mom had one I didn’t like it rear leg room sucks glad she traded it for rx f sport. The IS line is nice but it’s dated now and lacks a lot this will be the last of the v6 tho it’s getting replaced

I'm disappointed in the LED entertainment system. It needs the Toyota 14" screen found in the 24 Taco and Tundra. It's hard to go to a small screen esp at $55K+ price point in a Lexus.

Pretty flat with somewhat of a pearl effect to it.

you can get the IS500 if you want more power, that's technically a CD/DVD player and only comes w/ ML system and you can watch DVD movies when in parked, the non-ML system is the one w/ CD only

true, but if your a younger guy insurance might be very steep. I looked at one that was a 2022 low miles for 62k, insurance would've been near 460-500 a month

@@dbased1915 Dang! My current Audi r8 is $80 a month, full coverage! Age isn’t the only factor. I could get insurance on this for less than that. You need to shop somewhere else, or you have a bunch of accidents or something.

The sound system infrastructure for this car does not seem to lend itself to easily update: playing music from a thumb drive does not work while using car play, so for that I'm glad they kept the CD player.

Yes it has that! I don't think any IS 350 doesn't. I don't have the upgraded audio/navigation but definitely Android Auto/Apple Car Play. You have to connect via cable though.

That is the same performance as a $33k Base CVT/SPT WRX...

Having a CD player in 2024? Who the hell still plays CD anymore? That says it all. I thought of getting the IS but this is the biggest turn off, to not update the car in style and/or technology. The IS just feels like the 90’s. Lexus doesn’t listen to its consumers. Oh well. I rather spend my money on Acura.
